Staff Answer Tea Tree is a strong scent. So you will have to test that with another EO to see how much will work to get the scent you want. Try adding a small amount of Tea Tree to a larger amount of Lavender. You can try a 2:1 ratio or 3:1 if you would like. But you would need to test it to see since you know the scent you are looking for. There are other oils you can blend this with - per our blending suggestions listed under this EO: Lavender, Lavandin, Clary Sage, Rosemary, Oakmoss, Pine, Geranium,

Try using a dropper when adding Tea Tree EO. Also apply a little on a q-tip of each EO and place in a baggie then sniff.

Try using a ratio of 3 drops lavendar oil to 1 part tea tree oil and place it in a baggie. Let it sit a day. If you like more lavendar, try adding another drop at a time until you get the scent you want. When formulating your blend, just make sure you use that % on a larger scale.

COMMENTS: I have used this EO in several CP batches so far and honestly the scent is longer lasting then most FOs I use. It behaves well, no acceleration. Not sure about discoloration as I color this particular soap light green but I suspect that there isn't any. I personally like the scent but imagine that some people may find it quite "medical" if they are not accustomed to it.

COMMENTS: I have been using Tea Tree oils for years. This one by far is the best I have come across. This one does not start off with a medicine scent. I know that Tea Tree does have a medicine scent but this one is not overly strong and it is not the first thing you smell. It seems to last pretty long in all my products.

COMMENTS: Good quality stuff. We put it in our face soap, and also a couple other soaps we make for a couple of stores. It has so many medicinal uses. It does have a strong scent, so be cautious on how much you put in your soap. We blend with a Rosemary/Mint fragrance oil.

COMMENTS: I've never been a big fan of tea tree but all of my customers love it. The health benefits are endless. COMMENTS: I am so pleased with this purchase. I got the 4 oz size, which came in 2 2-oz bottles that we very well protected in cardboard egg crate and then packing peanuts. The quality is great and help up perfectly in CP soap. I love tea tree for the anti-fungal properties (we are a material arts family and skin infections are a serious problem) and though some find the smell too strong we love it.
