"Why do I keep getting seized soap with this fragrance? I have soaped at various temps.. 100, 112 and 120 and all have seized right after adding the fragrance? Any help would be great!"

"I see the IFRA Maximum Skin Exposure Levels for baby are higher than soap level. I'm not sure if that's a typo or not but usually baby is the on the lower side."

"Wonderful smell but left Spots in CP soap"

COMMENTS: Smells wonderful! True musky manly scent. My only complaint is once I cut my loaves theres many spots throughout the bars that look different consistency. My bars are uncolored and recipe contains olive, coconut, palm, cocoa butter, lye, water. I've never had these spots before so I only can blame the FO.

"Excellent Fragrance for Men"

COMMENTS: Although this would not be exclusively for men, the fragrance is so masculine, woody, and extremely sexy! I reminds me of the Old Spice after shave used by men in "days gone by". My husband loves it.

"Amazing fragrance"

COMMENTS: Every man should smell like this!! I have made bath bombs and body butters with this fragrance. I tested it on myself and the scent has lasted for several hours so far. I'm making Christmas gifts for family and this is perfect for my son.

COMMENTS: I love making men's soap, at craft show that is what I am noted for and I have a lot of men customers, so I am also looking for new men's FO to try. This did accelerated on me, but I was able to do two colors and a hanger swirl. I do warm up my FO in a water bath to get it close to the temp of my soap batter, I soap at 90 degrees. I feel this helps with the acceleration. Great scent, would buy again.

COMMENTS: Don't judge this one OOB. It mellows beautifully in CP soap, and has a lovely complex floral top note with a rich tobacco bottom in lotions and perfumes. I can't smell caramel, but that's ok, I call it Tobacco Flower in my products and everyone is happy!

"An Acquired Taste"

COMMENTS: This took some time grow on me. Nice OOB, but made me gag when a first poured a batch. The tobacco leaf note was really overwhelming at first. Now after several weeks of curing, the scent has mellowed, still strong but not quite as sharp. The scent reminds me of department store shaving creams that were popular in the '70s - rich, heavy and earthy. I've grown to like it, and can see this being popular in the fall and winter months. As others have pointed out, this does accelerate and rice in CP soap.

"Seized my batter"

COMMENTS: I used this in a fragrance blend for a lumber jack theme, and surprisingly, while the FO on it's own is very sophisticated, blended with the right other components, it rounded out the more rough components to create something awesome, manly, and rugged, with a whiff of polished gentleman. "Fragrance is nice but caused ricing in CP Soap"

COMMENTS: I love the fragrance, but in my CP soap, it caused ricing and poor appearance in the final product. I think I will try a small 2 ounce test batch again, and warm the FO before adding it to my CP soap. If anyone else has tips on how to prevent ricing with this FO, it would be greatly appreciated to post those!

"Wonderful scent"

COMMENTS: Really like this scent...very masculine without a strong cologne smell. If you are looking for a masculine scent that isn't overpowering, this is a great choice. "Dislike this scent!"

COMMENTS: Ok, expected it to smell more like tobacco and caramel, can not smell either scent! Not even a hint of those scents, let alone the other things the description says it smells like. Is a very fresh scent, not BAD, but NOT what is described, smells more like barber shop or the ocean scent, NOT tobacco, caramel, honey, etc. VERY dissapointed with this one, won't be using it, first time I've NOT found a use for a scent! :(

"What's not to love!?"

COMMENTS: This scent is absolutely divine for men. In 100% coconut oil cp soap the scent sticks very well. There was mild ricing but it was not anything you can not buzz out with a stick blender. In the body butter recipe it behaved very well.

"Love, Love, LOVE this scent!"

"Tobacco Caramel"

COMMENTS: This is a great scent. I don't smell the caramel as a separate scent, but the combination is excellent. It sort of reminds me of my grandfather, who was at one time a pipe smoker. Responses I've gotten have included, "now I smell like a real man" and "this is a man scent." I had no problems with ricing, discoloration, or acceleration. The fragrance behaved perfectly. It stays strong in the soap, and it stays strong on the skin after use. Twelve hours later, I can still smell it after using it.

"Surprisingly gender neutral"

COMMENTS: I bought this fragrance after encountering a candle at a store that was tobacco scented. This was the best priced with a greatest reviews. I have to say, this fragrance is really great. It's almost indescribable. It is a mellow and smooth scent with vague sweet undertones and an overall feeling of a well dressed man. It reminds me of old fashion cologne my Dad used to wear. As a woman, I happily made a batch of perfume with it and it lasted ALL DAY. If you're on the fence on whether you should get this FO, I highly encourage you to give it a try.

"Hard to Describe"

COMMENTS: I can't say that it smells like tobacco or caramel, but it is one of my all time favorites. It is subtle, but unforgettable. It is very unisex so I use neutral colors as well. I read a review somewhere of a cp soap made with it and they were complaining about the tobacco smell, but if tobacco were not in the name, I don't believe they could have distinguished it. I love it!

"Love this one!"

COMMENTS: I love this fragrance. I'm always looking for a non cologne smelling fragrance for my male clients and this is it. It actually is a great gender neutral as I've used it in soaps and lotions for women as well. It has just a smidge of sweetness from the caramel and though it is a light fragrance, you don't need a lot in the product itself. The only issue I have is when people hear "tobacco" they assume it won't smell good.
