Sugar is an emollient, as well as a mild emulsifier and humectant that softens, soothes and moisturizes. The large turbinado crystals slowly dissolve as they gently exfoliate. The premium blend of lightweight oils deeply moisturize and work together along with vitamin E to heal and soothe without clogging pores or leaving a heavy, greasy feeling.
Shelf Life: Minimum 1 year when stored sealed in cool, dry place away from light
Ingredient Benefits:
Coconut Oil- Extracted from the dried meat of the coconut, this tropical oil is an excellent skin moisturizer and softener containing naturally-occurring monolaurin which has demonstrated both virucidal and antimicrobial abilities.
Macadamia Nut Oil- Its benefits for hair and skin reach far beyond adding shine and smoothness. Its composition is compatible with our skin's natural sebum; a similarity that allows the oils to be absorbed into the skin and hair very effectively. Macadamia nut oil is an excellent emollient, rich in EFA's, Iron, Calcium, and Magnesium.
Kukui Nut Oil- Contains an abundance of essential fatty acids as well as vitamins A,C, and E. Conditions such as prematurely aged skin and skin overly exposed to sun especially benefit from its antioxidant benefits.
Passion Fruit Seed Oil- Passion Fruit Seed Oil has exceptional anti-aging properties, making it perfect for maturing skin. It is naturally rich in Vitamin C and antioxidants. It is high in fatty acids and has a light texture, these are valuable properties in treating wrinkles and dry aging skin.

Directions:
Use unscented (as-is) or add our Fragrances or Essential Oils at a ratio of up to 2%. This is a cold mix base, meaning that heating is not recommended. Simply add fragrance and/or color, then stir to incorporate. No solubilizer needed. Add only oil-based additives to this base and test thoroughly as the more oil you add, the viscosity will become more liquid than gel.

COMMENTS: This is a great scrub base. It does not leave your skin greasy feeling. It leaves your skin feeling smooth and soft. The only thing I found is the shimmer does not stay at all. I would buy this again.
