My only qualm is selling it by the pound gives the purchaser an unclear idea of the quantity of product they’ll be receiving fluid ounces would make more sense for liquid products. That said now that I know the size I would most definitely purchase again."

"Stearyl alcohol is pretty useful to have in your formulation cabinet. It makes up the bulk (about 70%) of the blend called cetearyl alcohol. But it's also nice to use on its own to thicken up and add emollience to lotions, creams, butters, and even conditioners. I haven't tried it in lip balms, but now that I take another look at this listing, I think I'll have to try that. Good price for a great product."
