Beachwood Vetiver

"I have purchased this scent since RE had it. I think it is a bit more masculine but it is a well loved fragrance."

"One of my favorite scents"

Pleasantly Surprised

"I was looking for a neutral scent that might appeal to both men and women, and I think this is it. Since this was my first time using this fragrance, I ran it through the fragrance calculator and was surprised at the minimal amount needed for the amount of soap I was making. I did use the fragrance indicated and was very surprised at how it came through in cold process soap. I can't wait until it is cured so that I can get the full effect. This promises to become a popular scent."

Not the same anymore

"I’ve ordered the black raspberry vanilla by Rustic Essentials before and this time after waiting a month for it to ship, it isn’t the same. The fragrance oil is always clear, just like the Just Scent is. When I received my 16 ounce of black raspberry vanilla from rustic essentials it had a slight dark hue to it as if it has vanilla content in it and it’s not supposed to either. It also doesn’t smell the same as I still have about 2 ounces left from another one I got a few months ago made by the same brand. I made soap with this batch and it turned my batter a slight yellowish hue and it never did that before. It also doesn’t smell the same either. I am very disappointed in this. First delays with orders and now fragrance oils aren’t the same. Inconsistent. Never had a an issue before until this “system upgrade”. If you have reformulated your fragrances, you need to be more transparent about that. Something isn’t right here and I am disappointed to the point that I’m not sure I can trust you anymore."

Birthday Cake

"This is my favorite Birthday Cake FO. Great in candles and melts and I love it in body sprays and perfumes."

Rhonda (5/5)

Unisex favorite

"Everyone loves this scent. A consistent good seller not only for summer but year round as well. Slight acceleration but still had time to do a four-color swirl. Combined lye water and oils at 80-83 degrees, blended to emulsion, poured into colors, then stirred by hand to trace. Worked well to minimize acceleration."

Kathleen (5/5)

Amazing Scent, very slight acceleration

"Soaped oils and lye at 87F with a multi pot swirl fine line pour had just enough time to make several pot swirl pours and swirl the top just as it was getting thick. Soap turned out beautiful and scent is one of my new favorites. Hopefully everyone else will love it as much as I do."

Jeremy (5/5)

Strong pine scent

"OOTB this smelled fresh and beachy, similar to Sea Salt and Driftwood but more on the wood side. Once mixed into CP soap, I can smell nothing at all but pine. None of the other notes come through at all. I'm hoping it mellows by the time the soap cures. It behaved well, but I soaped cool and kept to a single color based on another reviewers experience with acceleration."

Vanessa (3/5)

Great scent but watch out. . . .

"Overall it's a good fragrance oil, I've used it a few times in CP soap- fair warning it does accelerate the soap batch. I've tried it 3 times now and each time no matter the temp I soap at it accelerates very quickly. So fair warning! I wouldn't try a complicated swirl using this scent. However the scent does last past curing and smells very nice. Great summer time unisex scent."

What a surprise!

"I was looking for a strong summer scent. I came across this scent and it was perfect! A warm, beautiful, strong scent that fills up the room. I just placed an order for more! I had it burning at a party and sold out within 10 minutes."

Q&A

Can any of your fragrance oils be used in a diffuser, as well?
You can check under IFRA Maximum Skin Exposure Levels for Reed Diff %.
I use those felted wool dryer balls with my laundry. Would this oil work well to add some fragrance. I love this scent when used in hand soap.
This is something you would need to test. While fragrance can be added, it may stain your clothes in the dryer if not done properly.
