Reviews

This one smells nice in

"This one smells nice in the bottle, but in my experience in cold process soap it lost most of it's scent during saponification. Its IFRA rates for CP soap are only 3 percent if I remember correctly, so maybe save this delicious smelling fragrance oil for other uses than CP soap. It has a creamy, coconut and vanilla scent that really is very nice, just doesn't last through saponification well at the recommended usage rates."

Not my favorite

"No my favorite very light so it did not hold through well in cold process. I would maybe blend this in the future."

Coconut fragrance oil 94

"This coconut fragrance oil was recommended by the advice line for a coconut scent it was so bad. Would never buy again or recommend smells like banana and chemicals nothing like coconut what a waste of money. Had to throw it away couldn't use it for anything. Disappointed and disgusting. And that was recommended please note."

VERY WEAK SMELL

"I used to buy this years ago when I made soaps etc. and the smell was amazing. When you used it to shower or shampoo your hair it left a wonderful lingering scent on you. I thought I would start making my soaps shampoos perfume again. There is virtually no lingering odor in you. VERY DISAPPOINTED. Waste of money to buy."

Lynn N. (1/5)

More like vanilla

"This is NOT coconut. If you like the tiniest bit of coconut with your sweet vanilla then this is for you. It's not a bad smell but I'm making this soap for someone else. They need to sale a sample board with those scratchy stickers so you get an idea of what these really smell like. There's no return on these. I hate wasting my money on something thats not what it claims to be."

Ehh. . .

"Coconut is one of the hardest scents to get to stick in CP. OOB its delicious . Once soaped it looses its power. In lotions or other bathc products it would be great. Not really for CP in my opinion"

Q&A

Can this be used in lip balms. I see that it has a 0% for lips but this seems strange as you can use over 28% everywhere else on the body. Thanks
This cannot be used in lip balms according to IFRA guidelines.
where can i find shelf life of a product? how can i find it easily?
We guarantee all of our fragrances for one year from your purchase date.
Can this be used to make candles?
This fragrance can be used in candle wax. You would need to follow the manufacturer's recommendation for fragrance load for your particular wax. As with any new fragrance, testing is recommended to be sure the fragrance is compatible with the wax.
Can this be used in hand sanitizer?
This fragrance can be added to hand sanitizer. You may need to use a modifier if the oil does not mix into the sanitizer.
Can you tell me what the shelf life is? I'm looking for the shelf life of just the fragrance before it's put into a product. Thank you
All fragrances are best used within one year. They can absolutely be used even up to two years but some of the top notes may have faded out by then.
