Absolutely love this recipe

"I absolutely LOVE this recipe. I used different butters and added Poli 80. After the butters were melted, I let it cool to 92' F, then added to dry mixture. It worked very well."

Customers Love This Soap

"I highly recommend this soap base. I add a little kaolin clay and fresh ground oatmeal to this for my soap. It's really awesome. It has softened my dry skin and feels great. My customers love this soap."

I love the GoatsMilk

"This is my fianc''s favorite! He loves everything goats milk because of it's amazing properties and he said this one was no let down! It melts evenly & pours really easily! I would recommend this to anyone with dry skin! I have many people ordering the GoatsMilk already!"

Goats Milk Soap Base

"The Goats Milk 2 lb tray for MP process soap base by Crafters Choice that I recently ordered is a excellent product to use. Because it is easy to cut into small cubes for melting purposes and easily mixes well with other soap bases like Shea Butter and Olive Oil. This product also produces a good lather and colors well with soap colorants. I would definitely repurchase this product again for my future orders."

Great base

"Got goats milk base because of the awesome skin benefits, but also because of the suspension (I like putting herbs and dried flowers in my soaps). It works perfectly and at an amazing price."

Susan (5/5)

Love it!

"Seems to lather pretty well. Easy to use!"

Bonnie (5/5)

Creamy dreamy goat milk soap base

"Goat Milk is a sought after ingredient in soap by many customers and I love the results in the bars made with this goat milk. They come out creamy and rich with a beautiful lather. The goat milk soap is a delight to use, scents well and unmolds without a hassle. Many of my recipes depend on a full goat milk bar or goat milk in combination with other melt and pour. I wouldn't be without it."

Jane (5/5)

Wonderful Rich Lather

"I love this soap and it is a best seller. It has a nice rich lather and holds scents well. I will order and reorder this blend."

Q&A

How long can I store this MP Goat Milk soap? Does it lose any of it's properties with time?I think I may have stored the Shave MP soap too long, because itdidn't lather very well when I recently made a batch.
All Crafter's Choice MP soap bases come with a Use By date on their label. This date is two years from the manufacture date.
can we mix this with the honey base?
Yes, this can be mixed with other melt and pour bases.
Is it a requirement to list the soap base as an ingredient on your packaging label and if so, how is it listed, i.e. goat milk soap base? I've never seen this before on any soap so I'm wondering if it even needs to be identified as an ingredient.
You will need to include all ingredients listed for this soap base on your final label. Our basic and premium soap bases are not considered true soaps by the FDA and require all ingredients to be listed.
I added 3% Kojic acid melted in a distilled water and 1% of fragrance. I've melted everything separately and mixed the ingredients together. My soap does not get hard and is too gummy to be removed from the soap mold. What could be causing this? I've tried to create a Kojic acid soap with this base 3 times, each time failed.
We have never added this ingredient to our soap base so we are not sure why this is happening. It does seem that there is too much liquid being added to the soap if it is not hardening or this ingredient is just not compatible with our soap base.
Can all MP soap bases be used as soap right out of the packaging?
Yes, they absolutely can be used right out of package. They do not need to be melted, or have color and fragrance added.
