Cut soap base into small pieces, and melt in the microwave at 30-second intervals (or use a double boiler), stirring until fully liquefied. Once melted, add cosmetic color, fragrance, and other skin-safe additives—this base can hold up to 5% total additives—then pour the mixture into a Crafter’s Choice mold and spritz the surface with rubbing alcohol to reduce bubbles. Allow the soap to cool completely before unmolding, then wrap it in airtight plastic wrap to preserve freshness. Melted soap is hot and should be used with caution; recommended for ages 15 and older.

Should be called Crystal ""clearISH""

"This soap is NEVER the same from lot to lot. Yellow, cloudy, hard or maybe crystal clear. EVERY order is a guessing game whether the soap will be good or not. Last batch I got I was told it was ""within specs"" and that was coudy and had a yellow tint to it. Get it right or change the name! I've used this soap for over 15 years and in the past few years it has been horrible."

How much sodium lactate or stearic acid would you add to a 2 lb container of premium goat soap base for hardening?: Sodium Lactate is used to harden CP soap, You can not use it in a MP base. Stearic acid can be used in MP soap. the recommended percentage is Melt & Pour Soaps: 3%
What can I add to make soap bars harder so they last longer in the shower and don't melt easily at market.: You can try adding Sodium Lactate or stearic acid to help harden the bar a little more.
What ingredients do you need to add to soap so it does not dissolve so fast?: We recommend a hardener, like Sodium lactate or stearic acid.
A pricing question: when you select 2 lb tray at $139.78 for 24 lb are ordering one 24 lb block or 12 2 lb trays?: That would be 12 *2 lb trays, which is a total of 24 lb. Our blocks are now 23 lb, so 24 lb will always be in 2 lb sizes.
Is this base coconut free?: Some ingredients may be derived from coconut. There is no coconut directly added to this base.
