Details

For melt and pour soap, pour at no hotter than 135°F, cool until hardened, then unmold—freezing briefly and dipping the mold bottom in warm water if needed. For cold process soap, lightly coat the mold with cooking spray, pour at trace, unmold after 24 hours, and cure 4–8 weeks; add sodium lactate if your recipe stays soft. For lotion bars, pour melted mixture (no hotter than 135°F), allow to solidify, then press the back of the mold to release. Wash molds in warm, soapy water and avoid dishwashers to prevent warping.

I'm having a really hard time getting soap to come out of this mold. What is the best way to remove soap?: Always be sure the cavities are filled to the top. Once soap has hardened, place mold in freezer for 30-45 minutes. Remove and let sit a few minutes at room temp. Press on back of mold to release soap. If still not coming out, repeat steps or place mold in warm water bath for about 10-15 seconds.
