???? hi. Are 70/400 tops for 70mm opening jars?: Yes, 70/400 closures are 70mm in width. You will need to confirm the jar you are using requires a 70/400 closure. Closures can be different heights and not work on all jars with the same size opening.
Would a 2" round label fit on the flat part of the top since it's 2.9" total diameter? thanks: Yes, you can use a circle label up to 2.25 inches.
I see that there are both black and white versions of the jars and caps. Has anyone mixed the two? I'm wondering if a white jar with a black top would look a little fancier than matching parts... ?: You can mix and match any combination you like as long as you purchase the correct lid size for your jars.
What size shrink band would fit these best?: This would really depend on the jar being used. You would probably want the shrink band to fit over part of the jar otherwise the shrink band won't be effective. We recommend looking at the jar being used and the band recommended for that jar.
What sized labels would fit these lids?: A 1.5" round label would fit the top of this lid.
