Directions:
NOTE: If you are making these products for sale, good manufacturing practices recommend you wear a hairnet, gloves and a mask. We also recommend a clean apron and workspace.
- Weigh each type of salt into a separate mixing bowl.
- Add 5 ml of fragrance oil to both the pink salts and red salts and add 14 ml of fragrance oil to the European sea salt blend. Stir well.
- Add 5 ml of polysorbate to both the pink salts and red salts and add 14 ml of polysorbate to the European sea salt blend. Stir well.
- Spread each color onto a jelly roll pan and allow to dry overnight.
- Using a funnel and measuring cup, fill each tube with 1 oz. by weight of red salts.
- Combine the remaining red salts with both the pink and uncolored and blend them together.
- Again, using a funnel fill each tube with 5.50 oz. of mixed salts by weight.
- After all the tubes are filled, apply the caps.
- Label accordingly.
To Use: Pour desired amount into warm bath. Soak in bathtub.
