Directions:
NOTE: If you are making these products for sale, good manufacturing practices recommend you wear a hairnet, gloves and a mask. We also recommend a clean apron and workspace.
  1. Place silicone molds on two cookie sheets.
  2. In large glass bowl, measure out 15 oz. citric acid and 30 oz. baking soda. Mix together with wire whisk.
  3. In small glass bowl, add 0.20 oz. shea butter. Heat in microwave on medium heat until melted.
  4. Drizzle shea butter over powder mixture. Add 6 ml of fragrance and gently mix with wire whisk.
  5. With gloved hands, start to spritz mixture with alcohol. Spray with one hand and mix with other.
  6. Continue to spritz until mixture sticks together in palm of hand like wet sand.
  7. Fill 12 mold cavities, packing mixture down tightly as they are filled.
  8. Once mixture has hardened, about 1.5-2 hours (or overnight), gently remove from mold.
  9. If desired, repeat directions to make second set of 12 bath fizzies.
  10. To make frosting: Add 1 lb. cut up soap to microwave-safe mixing bowl and heat in microwave until melted. Add Foaming Bath Whip and gently stir in. Whip with hand mixer for one minute.
  11. Heat glycerin and myristyl myristate in separate microwave-safe measuring cup just until melted. Slowly pour into soap mixture while continuing to whip.
  12. In plastic beaker, measure 1 oz. fragrance.
  13. Mix 1 tablespoon powder color into fragrance then add to bowl. Whip until frosting thickens to a consistency that can be piped. This may take up to 10 minutes. To quicken this process, place bowl in refrigerator for 15 minutes to cool and thicken. If frosting hardens up too much, simply heat briefly then rewhip.
  14. Place a decorator tip into a piping bag. Fill bag with soap frosting then pipe onto each cupcake fizzy. Let set overnight to harden.
  15. Any extra frosting can be stored in a tupperware container for up to six months. When ready to use, heat slightly and whip with hand mixer.
  16. We recommend packaging 1 bath fizzy per bag and tie with ribbons.
  17. Label accordingly.
To Use:  Drop into warm bath water and soak.
NOTE: On 3/28/19, Myristyl Myristate was substituted for the Palm Kernel Flakes.
