Step 1

To a microwave-safe measuring cup, add Sweet Almond Oil, Cocoa Butter, Stearic Acid and Emulsifyng Wax. Heat in microwave until completely melted or about 170°F.

Step 2

Add distilled water to a second microwave-safe measuring cup. Heat in microwave to about 170°F.

Step 3

Pour water into melted oils/wax and stir.

Step 4

Using a stick blender or a hand mixer, briefly mix to incorporate ingredients.

Step 5

Mixture will be thin so we suggest either setting bowl aside to thicken or place in refrigerator or freezer until lotion cools to about 110°F.

Step 6

Briefly mix thickened lotion. Add Glycerin, Fragrance and Preservative and blend until fully incorporated.

Step 7

Fill each jar to approximately 2 oz. and apply lids.

Step 8

Lotion will thicken a bit more once completely cooled.

Step 9

Label product accordingly.

To Use: Apply to dry skin as needed.
