Staff Answer The label area for this jar measures approximately 1.25" tall and 9.25" circumference. We always recommend having the jar in hand before ordering or making labels for them.

The best fit label for me on this jar was 1.5" x 8" - I just placed 6 on an 8.5x11 label sheet and used a paper cutter to cut out the labels. They look great!

COMMENTS: When it comes to selling bath products...packaging counts...A LOT. These black jars are excellent for packaging male shaving creams, though I imagine you you could use them for thick body creams as well. On a table display, these jars resonate with males. It's like the jars beckons them because this packaging easily reads as "Not female." As far as the construction, these are quite sturdy and are larger than than the single walled jars. Why does this matter? Because when you're filling the jars with whipped product (like shaving cream), you can actually fill the jars with about 2.5 oz, but the jar still has the appearance of a 4oz. It's definitely worth the extra cost for these jars.

"Professional Look"

COMMENTS: The rounded edge on the jar is a far more sophisticated presentation (in my opinion) than the straight jar. I would love to see more choices, in colors, for the flat jar lids so that customers can identify different products at a glance with more than just my labeling. I find the black also to be a sophisticated look for boutiques and country shops a like. Your label tells the story and don't forget to punch that brand with your own one of a kind logo.
