Carefully pour product into container. If product is warm, allow to completely cool before applying top. If using a press and seal safety liner, the bottle rim must be completely dry before applying.

Staff Answer When packaging oil based products such as scrubs we recommend using a Press n Seal liner in addition to the foam liner included in the top as this will create a seal on the jar and the foam liner in the cap serves to further ensure a leak proof seal.

I use a colorful vinyl tape around the lid and jar after I have closed it up. I have shipped coconut oil-based lotions to various parts of the country during the hot summer and none of my item testers have reported any leakage from this method. WSP has some black vinyl tape for sale on their site. For the color I have, I purchased it at a different retailer.

I use the press and seal liners as well. They glue right to the jar when properly applied. USPS bounced one across the US in July heat, so I guess they can stand up to anything!

I use shrink bands for all my jars of paint or wax to prevent the jar lid from opening or loosening up during shipments.

COMMENTS: This is a very sturdy jar meaning it does not melt easily when I pour warm melted butter inside. I've had the experience when I poured too hot of an oil which caused the jar to change shape but when I wait for my oil to cool down just a bit, this jar is able to handle whatever I pour inside. It doesn't crack or break easily. Really do love and trust it.

COMMENTS: I've always used the powell jars, but I decided to package my body butter differently this time. I love the look of the powell jars, but I wanted straight sides, so I ordered these. I think that these are perfect for body butter! Another thing that I love about them is that I can use these and the powell jars in sets and they look great together. COMMENTS: Bought these, to offer customers a second size option. (8oz jars is my main size) This size has been a hit, easy to sell at a good price point. Gets customers picking up cute gifts, or for there own use for travel. Just place a bulk order of these and the lids with liner. Like the wider mouth for the scrubs and butters. Also use these for samples at shows and in stores having to change out samples often I lose less product. (used to use my 8 oz size)

COMMENTS: I purchased a couple of these to try out to get a feel of the size of this jar. I made some face cream and put it in the jar. I really liked it. I think the size and height of this jar is very good for this size. It is easy to put your fingers in and get a product out without having to dig deep when coming to the end of the product. I purchased the dome lids to put on this but quite frankly I did not like the dome style for this particular jar.

COMMENTS: I use these for creams and scrubs instead of 8 oz jars. The quality is much better than other jars of the same type I have bought. They go great with black, silver or white lids. These jars are easy to label as there is enough room to get everything needed on the label. Nice that they are sold without the labels because then you can customize. Thank you! I also use these for face masks and bath salts.
