Great Jars

"I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE these jars. I've been using them for 15 yrs for my soy candles & wouldn't dream of using another! Since you can't by these at the store, they get a lot of praise on how cute they are. I love the mason logo & the measurements too. I have used them for my jams also. Since they are true canning jars I ask my customers to pass them on to someone who cans or to repurpose, recycle or re-use them. Some customers bring them back for a discount on their next purchase. The bottom is a little domed, but I use a generous amount of hot glue to set the wick & no one has had an issue. I let the wax cool down from 160* to around 130* (Maybe cooler) to center my wick so the hot glue is cool enough for the wick not to pull out. I use the pewter lid for a rustic look. Their empty jar weight varies, so I have find a group of jars that weigh the same so my candles have the amount of wax stated. Jars seem to go from 198 grams to as high as 207 grams. Would liners work with these jars? We want to use the jars for selling balm and would like them to be sealed. If so, what size would fit?: The opening of the jar is 70, a 70mm seal would be used. Shrink Band 155 x 55.
