- Is this liner safe food contact?
- No, our warehouse is not a food-safe facility.
- Will these tips fit the 8oz plastic jars?
- Yes, the 8 oz Basic Plastic Jars require a 70/400 closure.
- Would I need a press and seal liner also? I am not sure what an F217 Liner is. Thank you!
- Press & Seals are used to provide a tamper evident seal on your product. The included F217 liner is just a foam liner in the cap that will not adhere to a container.
- Will this fit the 4oz natural plastic jars because you are out of stock of the 70mm lids?
- The 70/400 lid will NOT fit the 4 oz. Natural Classic Plastic Jar. The 71 mm top is made specifically to fit this jar.
- Does this fit a standard mason jar? The Ball company measuring instructions lists a standard canning jar as a 70 mm lid requirement, and the wide-mouth at 90 mm. Thank you!
- We cannot know if this would fit a mason jar since we do not sell them. Even though they may be the same size as the mason jars, these lids are made for plastic jars and may not fit tightly on glass jars as the threading is probably not the same. You would need to purchase them to know for sure.
