Wish I could have smelled it before buying it

"I realize it's personal, but I found this fragrance unpleasant. The bottom notes leave me a little repulsed, but I struggle to describe them sufficiently. It's like the alcohol content of a perfume that fails to fade. I smell the apple, and other fruits, but no floral. I just don't ""get"" it. I've tried doctoring it with orange and mango, but that underlying ""alcohol"" type scent dominates. I've just made a CP recipe, behaved fine, smells the same before the process. I'm hoping for the brighter fruitier scents to rise up in the cure."

Very strong and turned my soap light yellow

"This is a very strong scent and a little goes a long way. I was a little disappointed as it noted that it did not discolor but mine did with the addition of goats milk powder. Not sure why else it would discolor but just a heads up. Otherwise for a fragrance with floral it did not accelerate or have any other issues."

Sweet sweet scent

"There was some slight acceleration with this scent but nothing major and was still able to do some wonderful swirls. It is behaves better than other florals. The scent is indescribable aside from its sweetness. Customers seemed intrigued by the scent but usually moved onto something else. If I had to do it again I would market it as a nectar scent. There was little fade during the cure and no discoloration."

"This is the sort of scent that you want to have in your arsenal because people cannot identify it. It's mysterious and unique, but intriguing and pleasant. There is definately the underlying tones of fresh fruit but not in the ""fruity"" way that you might think. The floral notes are reminiscent of the flowers on a fruiting tree - with a thick almost nectar like fragrance. I wouldn't necessarily say that it is a feminine fragrance, but I can see it being used more readily in products geared towards women. Behaves well in CP soap, no acceleration or ricing."
