Points of Interest:
This soap column mold makes one 1” soap column that can be embedded into a loaf. The silicone construction allows for easy soap removal. Common Name Ingredient Listing (FDA Approved):

Melt & Pour Soap: Close the mold by firmly pressing the edges together. For added safety, clamp the edges. Slowly pour melted soap no hotter than 130ºF into mold. Allow soap to harden then open mold and remove soap. Trim edges with a potato peeler or spatula. Embed soap into a loaf or slice into bars. To minimize bowing, fill in three pours allowing the soap to harden between pours.

Cold Process Soap: Close the mold by firmly pressing the edges together, and clamp the edges. Slowly pour traced soap into mold. After at least 24 hours, open mold and remove soap with gloved hands. Trim edges with a potato peeler or spatula. Embed soap into a loaf or slice into bars. Allow soap to cure for 4-8 weeks. Note that some cp soap recipes may require a week to harden enough to remove from the mold. If this is the case with your recipe, we recommend adding sodium lactate to your recipe to assist with creating a harder bar faster.

Hand wash mold in warm, sudsy water.

"Thank you for continuing to advance this craft forward! And I love the idea of these specialty column molds, but they really need to be 10" long, in order to be used in the standard 10" loaf molds. Is WSP planning to make that happen in the near future? "

"Finding it very difficult to get snowflake out in one piece. Tried chilling it for hours, letting it set for extra long cure, any ideas, suggestions"

I Recommend This Product!
"Too Cute!"
COMMENTS:  I received awhile ago but just tried this mold last nite. I clamped it all around because I noticed other reviewers for column molds said the seals were not tight, I tried first with out clamps, just using water to test and it leaked. With the clamps tiny bit of leakage at the seams. It un-molded nicely, no problems. Little cleanup in a few spots, but success! Very satisfied with this mold, but would like to see it a little longer so I can use it in my loaf pan. Can’t wait to use it for my holiday soaps!!
