COMMENTS: FRAGRANCE: Very good fall scent! It is very apple-y with a hint of the classic fall cinnamon and warmth. I want to eat it, it is like apple pie.
ACCELERATION: Accelerated trace for sure. I soaped with my oils at 85F and my lye at about 90-95F. 2:1 lye water ratio. Blended to very thin trace and separated my colors (I did a dropswirl with 4 colors). I added the fragrance to each color while I was working with them to keep the acceleration manageable. My advice is: Once the fragrance is added, hand stir it in and expect to reach medium trace from a very light trace immediately. I was still able to achieve a decent drop swirl after using a stick to swirl the colors around internally. I was scooping some pretty heavy trace soap into the mold towards the end. You would probably get something closer to a camo soap if you did a multi color dropswirl without swirling with a stick due to the heavy trace.
DISCOLORATION: I used titanium dioxide on my white part of the soap, not expecting any discoloration from the fragrance. When fragrance was added, the white immediately became sunflower yellow. After gel phase, white became white again.
I will be buying this fragrance again, but probably won't be doing so many colors next time. If you did one color and poured your soap into the mold immediately after adding fragrance, you would have a really easy, good result.

"Soaped Suprisingly Well!"
COMMENTS: I don't know what possessed me to order a scent listed as a severe accelerator, but here we are, so I was prepared for disaster and absolutely floored by how *relatively* well it behaved. Yes, it accelerates, no, it is not the worst accelerating oil I have used, by far. Certainly not severe. I've had oils listed as mild accelerators perform far worse.
I prepared by splitting everything in threes first (3 oils, 3 lye waters), so I could blend each layer individually and not as one big batch. I did mica lines between. I soaped cool for my recipe, at about 85F. My recipe is 65% hard oils, and I used a 2:1 lye ratio and goat's milk powder as an additive. I used the highest recommended percentage as well. I hit light trace, and I added the fragrance, expecting disaster.
Disaster did not happen. I actually hand stirred the fragrance in for relatively a long time to get to a medium trace to pour. Now, once poured, it sets up somewhat quickly, so I don't know that a great 3+ color swirl is possible, but definitely a 2 color swirl or layers without batch splitting should be a go. As long as the batter was moving, it wasn't setting up. If you use less fragrance, it should be even easier. I would call this a moderate accelerator, at worst. My recipe absolutely worsens acceleration, and this oil just did not perform as poorly as I expected. I was so very happy and will use it again, and be more adventurous next time.
As for the scent, it's exactly what you would expect of apple cinnamon. It is strong, it is true to the name. The fragrance did discolor my batter, but we will see if it mellows out with the cure. It gave my brick red a little bit of an orange undertone, which is fine for a fall theme. The notes don't mention discoloration (positive or negative), so plan for it to turn things a bit yellow/orange.
I was pleasantly surprised, based on notes and reviews. This really was not disaster to work with, by far. I love it.

"Delightful scent but accelerates fiercely"
COMMENTS: I had been so delighted when this fragrance arrived and wanted to make nice swirls.... but before I turned around I had immediate ricing, developing into solid pudding. One frantic stick-blending for 5 seconds and then I just slammed everything in the mold hoping for the best. In future I'll use it for a really fast recipe and get it into the mold. What a pity, the scent is fantastic.
I am surprised since many reviews stated that it behaved well in CP - I used a favorite recipe with mostly soft oils that I never had problems with before.

"Fall favorite!"
COMMENTS: Here is my go to standard for a classic fall scent! I used this for a candle, carpet powder, room mister set! You could almost see the leaves change and fall!
PRODUCT USED IN: Room & Linen Sprays, Candles - Paraffin
COMMENTS: This fragrance smells just like a cinnamon apple pie. It is true to description! You can smell the apple in it just as much as you can smell the cinnamon. A great product! I see it as a repeat seller! Great for fall/christmas time!
COMMENTS: My iniitial sniff out of the jar was disappointing because all I got was the apple component. I decided to dip a test stick and see how the scent acted. Extremely pleased to get a very noticeable spice component to match the apple scent. The scent is very strong and I was able to smell it all day from the small ziplock bag I had the stick in. Loved it once I tested it on a stick and let it dry down.
COMMENTS: This is a great fall/winter spice scent. The apple is crisp and warm, and the balance of spices makes for a lovely holiday candle!

COMMENTS: Crisp, sweet apple chunks with just a hint of spice. Sticks like glue! No drama soaping. Will be running these soaps year-round. Hubby says it smells just like apple pie, without the crust. Also try mixing 50/50 with Oats, milk & honey. Yummy. RTCP @ .8 oz ppo

"Love it!"
COMMENTS: This is what you think of when you want Apple Cinnamon. Will buy again, and again.
COMMENTS: I totally love this scent. It does, however, seriously accelerate trace. Because of the reviews I didnt add scent to the base color until ready to pour, then scented the second color quickly and poured from a height but the base color was really too thick for a swirl, same thing with the third color. So, layering would be best for multicolor work. I will buy again because its a great scent but my colors will be layered. You have about 30 seconds after mixing to pour. I used a very slow recipe which didn't help.

"Great Fragrance!"
COMMENTS: I really like the Apple & Cinnamon FO. Smells like apple pie! So far I have only used it in liquid soap. It doesn't seem to thin the soap at all. One thing I noticed that I think will be helpful information to others is that it helps eliminate odors from your hands that are hard to get rid of. I used it after cleaning fish and noticed the smell was neutral on my hands. The same happened after I peeled an onion.

"Lovely Apple and Cinnamon fragrance"
COMMENTS: This fragrance caused acceleration on me. It was so bad that it turned into a clumpy mess when I attempted a Butterfly Swirl/layers the 1st time, and In-the-Pot swirls the 2nd time. I'm going to give it one more try and attempt plain layers instead of swirls. It's just not as pretty though. I hope I have better luck, but I won't change my recipe because I love castor and palm for lather and hardness. I'll try a lower temperature too: I usually mix at 100-110. These special oils, plus the cinnamon in the fragrance tend to accelerate, but the fragrance is worth one more go. If it bombs, so be it. People still like the scent, even if the soap looks funny.

"soap on a stick"
COMMENTS: This scent is wonderful, however I got soap on a stick. Literally. I should have read the reviews first. My soap seized immediately when I added the scent. I used a water discount, so maybe that affected the acceleration. I also soaped at about 115 degrees and maybe I should have waited a little longer. I WILL buy this scent again because it smells so good. You can smell the apples and the cinnamon. I hope it holds up in CP soap. I will just be more mindful of trace acceleration in the future.

COMMENTS: I used this fragrance for a stars and stripes melt and pour for the 4th of July and it was a huge hit. The scent is still going strong and my bar is almost used up. I made an oatmeal hot processed soap that has been curing on the shelves for a month and I can still smell the fragrance as soon as I walk in the room. It behaved well during the molding-no acceleration was noted and it has not darkened very much during the curing process. It still looks very much like oatmeal.

"Smells like Fall!"
COMMENTS: The scent is a beautiful, strong blend, and the apple notes really come through in this one and are not overwhelmed by the spices. I used the FO in Cold Process goat milk soap, and it did accelerate the trace somewhat. I had to work a little faster, but still had time to get a nice swirly top. It has not discolored and the scent remains nice—the apples are still the top note, which I love about it. Was thinking it might be a bit too spicy for lotion, but it isn’t! Since the apple fragrance lingers so well, the lotion I made is wonderful, also. I really think this is a nice one.
COMMENTS: This just became my favorite fall fragrance! It smells so good you just want to eat it! I used it in MP soap and lotion. I'm going to try it in sugar scrub too because I know it will be popular. It's the perfect blend of apples and cinnamon.
