Staff Answer Yes, it can. We have a few recipes for facial scrubs using this. You want to look for small granules for use in a face scrub. Since this powder is finely ground it should be okay for a facial scrub at a ratio of 0.50 to 1% of your total batch weight. I would recommend making a few tester batches first and have various friends sample them along with you.

I would be very careful in doing this because it is slightly abrasive. If you do use it I would use it in a very small rate.

I use this apricot seed powder in face scrubs all the time and my customers love it! You will want to start out adding just a little at first, as a little goes a long way!

Just make sure not to go over the recommended usage maximums. This ingredient along with ground apricot kernel are used in popular name brand facial scrubs.
