I am making a lip sugar scrub with this butter and want to add an addition oil for moisturizing, which oil is good to mix with this product?: Argan oil, sweet almond oil or any vegetable based oil will mix with this.
i don't like mystery ingredients and I have discerning customers who will be suspect of a term like "vegetable oil" and ask. In a previous Q&A you stated it was a proprietary blend that the maker would not disclose. What other butter might I be able to substitute in this recipe that would be a similar product (e.g. Shea, mango, more Tucuma, etc)?. Or is there a harder butter/oil that I could blend with Argan oil to create the same effect, such as more Babassu oil? Any suggestions? Thank you!: This depends what formula you are making, you can use any of our better blends such as Turmeric Butter Blend or Cranberry Butter Blend. Our Sal Butter also has a similar consistency.
If making a sugar scrub does this need to be refrigerated? If not does it still last up to a year?: No, it does not need to be refrigerated.
