Good but weak

"it smells great but in comparison to another bamboo and teak I have purchased this is much weaker. In my body butter the scent payoff for the same about of oil used is not there."

Not anything like Aveda's Shampure

"I wanted to love this, but it is not even close. I bought the bigger bottle because I love this scent so much. And I wanted to mail it back, but it cost as much to mail it back as it does the price I So I'm stuck with it."

Love it!

"I wanted to make a ""Mandle"" that had a scent that had a fragrance that reminded me of my Pops. And actually would remind many people of their dads or grandpas. I was able to mix this with another fragrance, and I feel I came close. My Granddad's Flannel candle is trendy in the fall, and it smells warm, cozy, and like a warm hug from my Dad. I love it and am so pleased that others do too! I definitely recommend using the Bamboo Teak either by itself or with another fragrance. It is a real winner!"

Ok scent

"This behaved well in my beer CP soap and the scent was okay but not 'a knock your socks off' scent. I bought a large bottle and will use it up but the soap is not as popular as other soaps."

Good fragrance but gets weak

"This scent was ok, but a lot of it was lost during the curing process."

Bamboo Teak

"I use this scent as a woodsy addition to my line. I use it in my shower gel but I recently added bar soap to my line and will be using it in that also."

Activated Charcoal

"I used this FO to make the Activated Charcoal Soap and the scent was awesome."

Very clean unisex scent!

"Used this Fragrance for a Sea Salt Soap I had in mind. I let worked so well I think it even extended my time to work with it! Only used 2oz for a 50oz batch and smells heavenly! Hopefully it holds through cure! I really enjoy this scent a lot!"

Bamboo Teak

"This fragrance oil is a hit in my men's soaps. It is rich and full without being overpowering. I highly recommend this fragrance for an earthy, fresh scent."

Hard to describe. . .

"I made soy wax melts with this and it has a nice strong throw that lasts a long time. The scent is very hard to describe. It's not green and grassy like the Fresh Bamboo FO (they smell nothing alike actually), it's more perfumed, sweet and woody with a powdery note. There are notes that remind me of a Driftwood FO that I have with something extra. I was hoping WSP would have given a more clear description depicting notes, but honestly their description fits. It's a relaxing scent that fits a natural decor, though my husband thought it smelled like ""old lady perfume"". I didn't think so, but there is something familiar about it that reminded me of visiting an elderly neighbor's house with the original wood from the 1930's, decorated with wicker furniture and a lot of plants. It's probably not something the younger crowd would go for, but it's a nice complex scent. I'm going to try mixing it with something a little more ""green"" next time but am afraid of overkill."

Q&A

I have purchased this FO. I would like to use it to make a room fragrance diffuser using an open glass bottle and bamboo reed sticks, What carrier should I use and what dilution would be appropriate.
To use this fragrance with reed sticks, you would need to mix the fragrance with a base such as DPG (dipropylene glycol) or another type of reed diffuser base. This will help the fragrance wick up the sticks to scent the room. You would need to test to see what dilution is best.
What is the percentage that needs to be used in cold process soap?
You would use the amount that is listed in your recipe. Here is a link to a soap recipe we made with this fragrance: http://www.wholesalesuppliesplus.com/education/recipes/bamboo-teak-palm-free-cold-process-soap.aspx.
Are your fragrances safe for candles?
Our fragrances can be used in candles. You would need to check the directions from your wax manufacturer to know how much fragrance to add to the wax.
