Details

Cut soap base into small pieces, and melt in the microwave at 30-second intervals (or use a double boiler), stirring until fully liquefied. Once melted, add cosmetic color, fragrance, and other skin-safe additives—this base can hold up to 5% total additives—then pour the mixture into a Crafter’s Choice mold and spritz the surface with rubbing alcohol to reduce bubbles. Allow the soap to cool completely before unmolding, then wrap it in airtight plastic wrap to preserve freshness. Melted soap is hot and should be used with caution; recommended for ages 15 and older.

"I purchased this base and made a few soap bars. . it lathers great , it makes mica colors very vibrant. . holds fragrance well. . however it dried my skin out SEVERELY after one use in the shower. It needs more moisturizing properties and it'll be a 5 star soap base!!!!"

This product is solid or liquid? Basic White MP Soap Base - 2 lb Trays: MP soap comes in a solid form. They can be melted to a liquid form, then color and fragrance is added. This is poured into a mold and the liquid hardens into a bar of soap.
is this soap base free of parabens?: This soap base, along with all of our other bases, do not contain parabens.
