One of my favorites!

"I use this in CP soap. It has a wonderfully clean, herbal scent that finishes with what I smell as a lime, even though there is no lime listed in the scent categories. It's a scent that works well in CP soap, and has lasting abilities. Medium mover in soap, so I hand mix in to keep it from speeding up the trace. When I use it the smell lingers on my skin for hours. This is a more herbal scent - bright and clean. I routinely sell out of this soap at the Farmer's Market every time I make it. Pair it with parsley powder and a bit of mint or basil flakes for visual interest and it's a stellar bar of soap. This is one I will buy over and over. LOVE IT."

Q&A

Does this FO/EO cause any discoloration in CP soap?
We found that when adding this blend to CP soap, it cures to a light tan. The website has been updated.
With the EO/FO blends, is the amount of FO added minimal enough to still be considered Natural?
This product is not considered natural. It contains 17.5% of EOs and resins. The rest of the formula is made of synthetic fragrance compounds. Will this cause photosensitivity at 1% in lotions?
This fragrance will not cause photosensitivity in a product.
On my last order basilsage mint FO the smell was completely different. Did this frangrence change?

How much of an EO FO blend do I put in an unscented shampoo or conditioner? The directions say it depends on three factors but then is blank.
Hi Amy - Thank you for bringing the issue to our attention. We've updated the directions. For shampoo and conditioner use the lowest of three criteria: Max. the base will accept, Max. IFRA usage rate, and Max. that smells good. For this example, shampoo has a max. of 2%, the IFRA max. is 6.8%, and the amount that smells good is up to you. We suggest starting low, maybe 1%, and adding up to 2% if you feel it needs a stronger scent.
