"This blue is gorgeous in bath bombs, and you can make a variety of shades with how little or much you use. I've made everything from a pastel blue to a dark midnight blue with this, and it never ever stains the tub. The color dissolves and makes the water a beautiful clear color, and it doesn't stick to the skin. I only use these colors for my bath bombs."

"I have been looking for a color to replace a previous company that no longer carries stock of product. I talked with customer service and they recommended this one and was so glad I tried it. I use this mainly in a bath salt that is for aching, tired muscles and mix with muscle rescue and a few other essential oils, then I add a little of this for the ""icing"" on the cake. To add to the relaxation, it turns the water just a beautiful blue and doesn't stain tub. Love the total experience it offers and it takes just a little."

"Performs great in bath fizzies and salts. A little bit goes a long way but no matter how much I've used, still no ring in the tub. Will make sure to keep this great find on hand."
A little goes a LONG way
"I ordered the sample bags of these colorants and am very impressed with the value. You really do only need a tiny pinch to deeply color a batch of bath bombs! I screwed up with my first attempt and dissolved the dye in water before adding to my bomb mix, it made a clumpy fizzy mess! Best to mix the dry powder in with your citric acid and baking soda before adding any fluids. These colorants do darken considerably when fragrance or witch hazel is added. They do tint bath water when used but I've had no issues with them leaving a ring or any staining. This is a very vibrant blue, makes a bright apple green when mixed with equal parts of the yellow bath bomb color."

- This can be used in CP and HP but the color can change in high pH, so we recommend small-batch testing first.
- Can this be used in your bath slime recipe?
- Yes, this is safe for bath water products.
- Will the Lakes powders dissolve in rubbing alcohol?
- This powder disperses in alcohol.
- Hi! I'm a little confused, I thought only dyes were water soluble and lakes are oil soluble? Is this not your typical lake?
- That is not true information, these are normal lakes that are water soluble.
- Do I need to use Polysorbate 80 when using the Lake Bath Bomb Powder Colors in bath bombs? I prefer not to use it.
