Color Morphs Badly!!!

"I combined this beautiful Blue 1 Lake and the vibrant Yellow 5 Lake to make a stunning verdant green to use in my cold process soap only for it to begin morphing into a hideous ""hotdog"" reddish brown before my eyes!!! There was no saving it, even after troubleshooting the ratios. My soap now looks like a vomited hotdog with mustard and ketchup blobs on top. . . . There's no way i can sell this soap, the design no longer makes sense with the name or scent. I am not looking forward to cutting this loaf. Very disappointed. Maybe you should put that it's not soap stable and cannot withstand any form of heat process on the bottle in the future. . ."

I love that it did not clump!

"A little goes a long way. I love that it did not clump up, the color is perfect. I am glad I got a sample because then I knew I wanted to order more."

LOVE

"I love everything about the Bath Bombs colors except that there aren't MORE colors to choose from! They blend great with each other though and, they tint the tub just enough to make it fun. So far, NO messy ring either or any staining on the tub for that matter!"

A little goes a LONG way

"I ordered the sample bags of these colorants and am very impressed with the value. You really do only need a tiny pinch to deeply color a batch of bath bombs! I screwed up with my first attempt and dissolved the dye in water before adding to my bomb mix, it made a clumpy fizzy mess! Best to mix the dry powder in with your citric acid and baking soda before adding any fluids. These colorants do darken considerably when fragrance or witch hazel is added. They do tint bath water when used but I've had no issues with them leaving a ring or any staining."

Nice and Bright

"This color was nice, bright, and only took a little to color the mix. Did not clump, just mixed in with the dry mix and I could tell that it was going to a nice colored fizzy."

Bright Yellow Color

"I have used this color both on its own and mixed with the blue bomb color to make green. I absolutely love the Bath Bomb Powder colors! They work very well, do not stain and color the water a bright hue. I will be buying a lot more of these!"

Leigh (5/5)

Good color

"Mixes in well when I used for bath bombs specifically. Gave a good contrast to other colors like blue and white. Provides a nice bright color as oppose to a pale yellow."

Denise (5/5)

An absolute must-have for bath bombs and fizzies

"I am so happy I discovered these bath bomb colorants from Wholesale Supplies Plus!! I will never use micas again. These turn your bath water a beautiful hue and DO NOT stain or leave a ring around your tub. These are a must have for anyone making bath bombs or fizzies. I haven't tried them in my bath salts yet but I am sure they will work just as well. I will be a lifelong customer this is for sure. I can't believe it took me so long to find these. Thank you!"

Q&A

Hi can a little of this be used in an emulsified sugar scrub with mica ?
Yes, this can be used in a sugar scrub.
Do you have to use poly 80 when using bath bomb powder? Is it considered a lake?
Bath Bomb Yellow is a lake color. We would recommend using Poly 80 for use in bath bombs.
I have tried other colorant from here and other places. I LOVE these. These are the ONLY colorant that does not leave a ring. Why is that? What makes these not leave a ring. How do I use other types so they do not leave a ring. Am I doing something wrong. I wish there were more colors of this same product. Thx
Lake dyes dissolve in the water whereas other colors, such as micas, will only suspend. And, if using an oil or butter in your bath bombs, this will help the colors stick to the bath tub. When using micas, you would want to use Poly 80. You can also use our Stained Glass Liquid Colors in your bath bombs. They will also tint the bath water.
Are bath bomb powders gluten free?
Since multiple products can be processed in the manufacturing plant, we cannot guarantee there may not be some cross-contamination from other products.
Can Shea 50 be used instead of Poly 80 to illuminate stub stain when making bath bombs containing oils?
If using Shea 50 in your bath fizzies, you do not need to use Poly 80.
