Couldn't make it work

"I tried and tried to get this thing to work, but I just could not make the molds fully round or equal on each side. I tried scooping large clumps and then packing more in through the holes on each side but to no avail. Perhaps it's user error, but I feel like I shouldn't have to be a rocket scientist to make this tool work. I feel like it was a total waste of money."

"Most of the fizzy kits come with the plastic molds which is great however, I was looking for something to make smaller bath bombs. This tool works well providing you have the right mixture for the fizzes. If you are doing a lot of bombs, this tool make a blister on your fingers. :)"

"This is the only tool that I have been able to successfully make bath bombs with. I was ready to give up! Once I got the knack of getting my mixture to the right consistency, it was a breeze. If a bomb breaks up or does not look right, I just dump it back the bowl and adjust my mixture with more witch hazel spritzes (if it is too dry) or let it dry out some if my mixture is too moist."

I have read on this site that when using mica for bath bombs you should use poly-80 to help with the ring the mica may cause. If that is the case why isn't poly-80 in the macaroon bath bomb recipe? Thanks: Due to the minimal amount of Nutone Purple in the recipe it is not necessary to add Polysorbate 80. If you prefer to use the Polysorbate 80, only a small amount (approx 1 ml) would be needed.
