FOR LIP PRODUCTS: Melt beeswax in double boiler or small pot on low heat. Once melted, add solid butters. Remove from heat. Add liquid oils and flavor oil. Mix well. Pour into lip tubes, small jars or other lip product packaging. FOR LOTION BARS: Melt beeswax in double boiler or pot on low heat. Once melted, add solid butters. Remove from heat. Add liquid oils and fragrance. Mix well. Pour into mold or lotion bar container at an appropriate temperature for mold or packaging. Allow mixture to solidify. FOR AIR FRESHENERS: Melt equal parts beeswax and palm kernel flakes (102º melt) in a small pot on low heat. Remove from heat. Incorporate fragrance. Pour into mold at an appropriate temperature for the mold. Allow mixture to solidify. Unmold and enjoy. FOR CP SOAP: Use at about 1-3% of your oils and calculate with your oils in a lye calculator. Beeswax has a high melt point so raise the temperature of the oils to about 160ºF or 170ºF before mixing it in. It is necessary to soap hotter, around 120ºF, and be prepared for accelerated trace.

Warning

For external use only. Avoid contact with eyes. Use caution when melting—hot wax may cause burns. Keep out of reach of children. Store tightly closed in a cool, dry place away from heat and sunlight.

"This used to be a great product that I purchased many times, but no longer. The first time I received the chemical-scented batch I reached out to customer service with the lot number and told them that it was unusable due to the strong chemical smell. I had made lip balm with it and had to throw the whole batch out. They agreed that it did smell very strongly, and quickly replaced it with a bag of their ultra refined white beeswax, which was just fine. I again ordered this beeswax a month or so later, assuming they would have thrown the bad lot number out. I received the same lot number, and it smells just as bad. This time customer service told me I can return it at my own expense. . . . not really worth it if I have to pay return shipping, and then shipping again to get a usable product. Don't buy this stuff, it stinks. . . literally."

Great Product for Lotion Bars

"I bought this to use in lotion bars to have a more true color, if the customer wants some color. The results were wonderful. I added some pink color for a hibiscus lotion bar and it turned out fantastic. The leaves from the botanicals also came through nicely against the white bar and looked fantastic. My next project will be a coconut lime lotion bar and I am expecting equally wonderful results."

What is the % fragrance it can hold? I want to make a Wickless candle. Some waxes hold between 10-12% FO. Just wanted a rough idea gif this product. Thank you: In general, you should expect beeswax to hold 6%, or 1 oz fragrance oil to- 1 pound of candle wax. Some candle-makers use a higher percentage (up to 12%), but this is something you would need to test.
Hello I bought this and I saw the warning on the package I'm hesitant to use it this is my first time do I need to wear mask and gloves while melting it?
