FOR LIP PRODUCTS: Melt beeswax in double boiler or small pot on low heat. Once melted, add solid butters. Remove from heat. Add liquid oils and flavor oil. Mix well. Pour into lip tubes, small jars or other lip product packaging. FOR LOTION BARS: Melt beeswax in double boiler or pot on low heat. Once melted, add solid butters. Remove from heat. Add liquid oils and fragrance. Mix well. Pour into mold or lotion bar container at an appropriate temperature for mold or packaging. Allow mixture to solidify. FOR AIR FRESHENERS: Melt equal parts beeswax and palm kernel flakes (102º melt) in a small pot on low heat. Remove from heat. Incorporate fragrance. Pour into mold at an appropriate temperature for the mold. Allow mixture to solidify. Unmold and enjoy. FOR CP SOAP: Use at about 1-3% of your oils and calculate with your oils in a lye calculator. Beeswax has a high melt point so raise the temperature of the oils to about 160ºF or 170ºF before mixing it in. It is necessary to soap hotter, around 120ºF, and be prepared for accelerated trace.

For external use only. Avoid contact with eyes. Use caution when melting—hot wax may cause burns. Keep out of reach of children. Store tightly closed in a cool, dry place away from heat and sunlight.

is this a natural product?: The product is pure beeswax but it has been refined & bleached.
is this natural organic?: This is not considered organic as we are not a certified organic company.
What is the % usage for using this in deodorant recipes ?: This would depend on the other ingredients in your recipe. Another wax, shea butter, cocoa butter, etc. will affect the outcome. You might want to start with around 10-15%. Too much beeswax will make the product drag on the skin. Make small batches until you are happy with the outcome.
What is the benefit of using beeswax over lotion bar additive in making lotion bars? Thank you.: Both ingredients work well and it is personal preference. Lotion Bar Additive does give the product a more creamy texture than just using the beeswax.
