Cold Process Soap Test Results:

We test fragrances with the recipe of 50% olive oil, 20% sunflower oil,
15% coconut 76, 10% shea butter, 5% castor. No water discount.

COMMENTS: This FO soaped nicely but yuck, I do not like the smell. No one that has smelled it has liked it either. I have gotten feedback that it smells like kid’s toothpaste, laughing gas, and the artificial orange scent pumped into public restrooms. It is very minty/spicy and artificial smelling.

"Good scent"

COMMENTS: I could not pick up the bergamot, but mostly the sweetness of mandarin. I also get some powdery notes. Many others have said it has a cinnamon or spice note. good behavior in CP soap.

COMMENTS: I absolutely love this scent in cp soap. Plenty of time to work with it. No acceleration, ricing or seperation. Scent lasted well through curing and came out nicely when it got wet and used. This one is a keeper.

COMMENTS: I usually make just soap with bergamot in it. When I came across this new combination, I had to try it. I made a small sample size soap for my friend and she's hooked. COMMENTS: Used this FO in my lard based cold process soap and had no issues. I added 2 tbs walnut shell powder to this 90 oz batch and it became a beautiful kitchen scrub bar. Did a matching bar with Meyer Lemon and they were a perfect pair. Sold all the bars at it's first show. Very well received.

COMMENTS: I love citrus scents, so I was excited to try this one, but I don't love it. To me, it smells like orange gumdrops. It also doesn't seem to be as strong or long-lasting as some of my other fragrances. However, my sister just loves it; it was her favorite of all the soaps I made. So, since it seems to be a personal preference thing, I will use up the rest, but probably won't buy any more.

"Great Fragrance, Not Bergamot"

COMMENTS: This is a great fragrance. It smells very orangey, not bergamot at all. I don't even think it should have bergamot in the title. :) It behaved very nicely in CP soap, no issues at all. Has a nice orange cream smell to it.

	"Amazing When Mixed With Yuzu!!"
COMMENTS: I bought this and didn't know if I wanted to make a lotion or soap out of it. I decided on a soap, but didn't have enough of it to make a full loaf. I grabbed the Yuzu and put in about .5 oz with my 1.7 oz of Bergamt and Mandarin. I am now on this site to order MORE of this scent because it smells so good!! The Yuzu takes away some of the sweet smell. I also blended a spearmint and lemongrass tea with my lye water to give it a slightly minty smell. This fragrance worked up beautifully. No soap gremlins visited me during the making.

COMMENTS: Perfect balance between the two scents. This scent has more of a mandarin followed by bergamot. I really enjoy the smell. Like most FO I've used from WSP a little goes a long way. I'd suggest playing around with usage rate, going way below recommended like I have. I was surprised by how fragrant my soap still was. I used 1 oz of this FO for n 8lb batch. I kid you not!

"My all-time favorite!!"

COMMENTS: A spicy scent but not at all over-powering! I love the hint of citrus and the smell is very unique. No discoloration or acceleration in any of my CP soaps. It's a long-lasting scent and even in soaps that are not wrapped air-tight, the scent does not fade. Not even in a 3-year time span. That's AMAZING! Great for both men and women alike. I have been using this scent for several years now and it is by far one of my top sellers. I wouldn't be without it as it is a great fragrance for anytime of the year! LOVE IT WSP!!

	"Perfect Kitchen Scent"
COMMENTS: As a beginner soap maker, I'm hesitant to purchase new scents. You never know how they will behave or if they will cause more issues than I know how to control. Well, this scent isn't one of those misbehaving soap on stick type of fragrances. It was easy to use and the fragrances held up beautifully, even after curing for 4 weeks. I have a still have a few bars made roughly 2 months ago and the scent is still going strong. As far as the fragrance itself, it lends itself perfectly for kitchen products. I use these citrus bars to successfully cut the smell of fish, onions and any other strong foods which may stick to my hands while cooking. If there's one bit of advice I could offer to another newbie soaper...it's that this scent is strong. You'll find yourself using less of it (by weight), than a floral scent. The good news is...you'll be able to save money by using less.

"Favorite Scent"

COMMENTS: This is my new favorite scent. It is a sort of sexy, subtly sweet and fruity fragrance. The sweetness is not overpowering though. Like I said earlier, it is a subtle sweet smell. I have used it now in almost every body and hair care product I make for myself, as well as many for sale. The fragrance carries well in melt and pour soap, lotion, shampoo, and body wash! I plan to try it in some shaving gel or cream and maybe a sugar scrub as well. I use it in the suspension shower gel with jojoba beads also for a shower gel exfoliator in one! I love it in everything!

COMMENTS: This is absolutely one of my new personal favorites. I made a single batch of CP soap just to try it and it sold out within a week of offering it for sale. So today I made a triple batch!! It behaves very well in CP soap with plenty of time to do the swirls. It's a fabulous fruity smell mixed with just the right amount of spice. YUM!
