Our Botanical Facial Cleanser is a luxurious base that gently cleanses skin. Most Sulfate Free bases lack lather, but this base creates a rich lather that removes dirt and impurities while leaving skin hydrated without Sulfates! Formulated with mild ingredients for all skin types, including oily, dry and even sensitive makes it ideal and gentle enough for daily use.

Directions

This is a cold mix formula and heating is not recommended. Simply add your scent or additives directly to the base at room temp by stirring with a spatula or machine mixing. This product can be warmed to a max of 122F if you choose to add butters, though. A double boiler is recommended to prevent burning. Since the product is really thick, constant stirring would be needed to evenly distribute the heat. The color and consistency will change from white creamy to opaque/hazy thick gel and it could take a from a couple hours to a few days to go back to the creamy white consistency (if at all, depending on what was added). The addition of any ingredients will change the final product and testing in small batches is recommended.

This is a thick, creamy cleanser that is preferably packaged in a jar.

"thought they sent me a jar of white diamond mica. opened it and it looks like noxzema with a bit of a softer texture. not too many bubbles so im afraid to add anything to it in fear i might lose the bubbles i do get. any suggestions???"

Absolutely a Classy Facial Wash/Shaving lotion

"This 'Botanical Facial Cleanser' is thicker than I would like it to be. The consistency is that of a thick shaving cream, which to some is a plus. I would prefer a thinner option. But I have made this formula work by adding additional fluids to make the consistency I like. This facial cleanser is the best I have used for DIY products! I have customers who have sensitive skin and they have had no issues! I love the way my skin feels even one hour after use, my skin feels even more hydrated! How can that happen?! It is amazing! I love having the option to color it and using the essential oils or FOs of my choice. I have also used the jojoba beads to give it a little scrub feel and it is amazing! Thank you so much for this amazing formula!I highly recommend it!"

"This stuff is amazing and it works! My customers and I both love it. It is easy to incorporate fragrances into the base and there is never an issue with clogged sprayers. "Love LOVE this base. I used green tea powder and Elements' "Sparkling Green Tea" and it is simply spectacular. No moisturizer after washing to see how it left my skin. (I have VERY dry skin. ) I was surprised at how soft and supple my face felt afterwards. . . even an hour later I did not feel the need to apply moisturizer. Finally broke down and got a few testers, everyone loves it. Will most certainly be part of my skin regimen from now on."

Could I add the water soluble cucumber extract to thin this out? What would you suggest is the max % I could add?: You can add up to 1% - Always test.
Hello! If I put distilled water to thinned out this product a little bit. Should I base the weight of the water that added to it or should I base the total weight of the formula in adding more preservative to it. Thanks!: it would be based off the total weight
Is it possible to add a little Walnut Shell to this base and make it a scrub? Its thick and creamy and could definitely hold the weight of the exfoliant.Thank you in advance!: We have not tested this, but in theory it should work. Please send us a review if you try a recipe and let us know!
