| COMMENTS: Because I noticed a few other reviewers mentioning slight acceleration problems with this FO, I soaped at full water and room temperature, and I added the FO when the batter was just emulsified. Turns out I ended up having to wait and wait and wait for the batter to thicken so I could do a hanger swirl - LOL! So it behaves very well and smells very nice. I would agree that it has some peach in it that takes away from the whole Calypso Sun idea, but I still find it a lovely summer fragrance. | |||||||

It definitely leans towards the acidic, citrus-y side as most have described it smelling like pineapple. To me personally, it doesn't scream pineapple. It's more of a generic citrus scent, which for some people could throw off the tropical vibe. However, on its own the scent is good just not as tropical as I expected. | |||||||

"Not great OOB but nice in final product" | ||||||
| COMMENTS: Honestly I had this oil a while before using because OOB all I could smell was strong pineapple. I decided to use it in a summer soap though and am pleased so far. I soaped with a basic soap recipe at around 120 degrees. It did accelerate trace a bit I felt making my 4 color swirl more difficult but not impossible- Just be prepared and add fragrance right before pouring your soap in mold. Has not discolored and so far scent seems nice and strong. I used 1oz per pound. Overall a good oil I may use again. | |||||||

| COMMENTS: This fragrance is great and it quickly became one of my best selling lines. The scent is fruity but fresh, a happy, strong, but not overpowering citrusy fragrance that makes you want to keep sniffing on your skin. It did great in CP soap, no AC or discoloration, the scent stayed strong and true. In lotions, creams and body butters it is absolutely divine. I am not a fruity fragrance fan, but this one became one of my favorites and it is liked instantly by anyone who smells it. It will stay part of my main line of products as it sold really well all year long. | |||||||
