Reviews

Great performance & Behavior in CP soap.

"I've found that some mica's can behave badly in CP soap, but this one was great. Used in conjunction with FO. Fairly heavy incorporation - 2. 5 grams to 2 cups of base. I'll definitely be buying this again."

Q&A

We used this color to make bath bombs. We made two attempts and lessened the amount of mica powder the second time. Both times, the coloring floated on top of the water and stained the tub - not an easy to remove stain, but a "scrub with bathroom cleaner" stain. The consistency of the bath bombs was good, fragrance levels were good, and it fizzed as desired. What are we doing wrong?
We recommend using Polysorbate 80 in your bath bomb recipe. This will help the color blend into the water and not leave a ring on the tub. We have many recipes on our site using Poly 80: http://www.wholesalesuppliesplus.com/handmade101/how-to-make-recipes/bath-bombs-and-fizzies.aspx
