Tips for using our silicone Christmas tree mold:
This candle mold does not come with a hole for the wick. You will need to poke a hole in the mold. We like using a metal skewer to create ours.
To use the mold, thread a wick through the large opening and into the hole you created. Seal the hole leaving about ½” of the wick poking though the bottom of the mold. Keep in mind the top of your candle is at the bottom of your mold. Fill your mold with wax. Use a wick bar to center your wick. Once the wax sets up, remove the candle from the mold. Trim each end of the wick to about ¼ inch.
This candle will hold about 7.5 ounces of candle wax. Approximately 5 " H x 5 3/8" W x 4 1/2" D.

COMMENTS: This tree mold makes quite large candles- 8 ounces! It's easier to unmold than I thought it would be. They're gorgeous and definitely an "evergreen" product if you live in an outdoorsy area (lol). The tree doesn't have ornaments or anything specific to Christmas on it, so you can use it year round. The mold we received was poured a little off-center, and one side is super thin, so I'm worried about it tearing quickly. That's probably just a manufacturing error, so far it's held up and we love it! You do need to poke your own wick hole, so keep that in mind.
