"I've been very happy with this preservative. The only time I don't use it is with surfactant-based products that will have a pH at 6 or above, like those made with sodium cocoyl isethionate--it's only stable above 6 but Optiphen performs better below a pH of 6. So I just use liquid germall plus for those--hand wash, shampoo, body wash etc. The rest of the time I reach for this one."

- How does this compare to waffers in regards to melting during transport in warmer weather. Is it the same, or able to withstand heat a little better than waffers.
