"Best in Cold Process Soap"

COMMENTS: I see in most of the reviews, most folks who hate this FO aren't using it in CP soap. It smells waaaay better once it goes through saponification! I mainly use it within a blend with vanilla or a pumpkin something, since it is so strong. But, I recently made a pure coffee batch, and is smells just like a fresh cup of black coffee. I only use it at 4% or less and haven't made a nasty batch yet. I will continue to purchase and hope CP makers aren't scared to even try it!

"Real smell & STRONG"

COMMENTS: This absolutely smells like fresh ground coffee beans. I mixed it with the Espresso fo and it's perfect. Note: It's VERY strong. I had to put the bottle in a sealed bag because it made my entire house smell like a coffee shop.

"Nice, especially mixed with another FO"

COMMENTS: I combined this EO/FO with the Crafters Choice Espresso FO, about 50/50, made with 1/2goat milk and 1/2 very strong brewed coffee, and used coffee butter in the recipe at 10%. Wowza!!! Intoxicating combination! Coffee Beans alone was a bit too harsh, and Espresso too sweet, but together they are a winning combination.

"This is an averaged score"

COMMENTS: I used this fragrance over a year ago by itself, using fresh brewed coffee as the liquid. It smelled harsh and rather phony. I would have given it 3 stars. Today I tried it again, BUT added "creme brulee" fragrance. The fragrance is great, just like creamy coffee. My husband actually commented on the fragrance. My husband does not comment on any of my soaps unless he runs out of it! I give this 5 stars. So my average is 4 stars.

"True to description"

COMMENTS: Smells like pure coffee beans. Strong and true to discrimination. I colored my soap dark to avoid any spotty discoloration and had a wonderful result. It behaved well with the stick blending to suspend the coffee grounds and using the heat transfer method.

"Oh my..."

COMMENTS: Oh no, instant destash. From the other reviews, I thought this would help with a bud accord. But it’s worse than “skunky” or “burnt”, it just straight up smells gross. Hard to describe other than that. I think look elsewhere for a coffee beans scent, this is just too atrocious sadly.

"Smells like Hazelnut, NOT coffee"

COMMENTS: I don't understand the other reviews. They must all drink heavily artificially flavored coffees. This does NOT smell a hint like real coffee beans. It is clearly a hazelnut scent. Maybe 5% coffee, 95% hazelnut. Or some other nutty smells. Completely useless for my project.

COMMENTS: Used 2oz sample bottle in a 3lb loaf of soap. It was just enough with the added coffee grounds without being too strong. Added 1ounce of vanilla FO to give it some sugar. The bars came out lovely. I added VCS so that “foam” wouldn’t be completely brown. And it helped. Will be purchasing a 8oz Bottle next for fall

COMMENTS: This is a very strong coffee scent for the serious coffee lover. Not my favorite of the coffee scents since it smells a little bitter and not as sweet as the others. Those who love straight black coffee will love this scent!

COMMENTS: I love coffe and drink it all day long every day, but if it tasted as bad as this oil smells I’d never drink it again! And it’s strong! Can’t understand why anyone would give this oil a good review. Skunky, as someone else decribed it is a fairly good description. If you want something that smells more like real coffee, go with the Espresso.

COMMENTS: I love the aroma of coffee, even though I'm not a coffee drinker. This smells just like a pot of fresh brewed java. It's a heavier fragrance so be careful how much you use. I mixed it with a bit of vanilla hazelnut for soy candles and it smells divine!

COMMENTS: I am a coffee lover!! And this fragrance is wonderful! Smelled like strong fresh roasted coffee beans OOB. And the fact it only contained 1% vanillin had me sold!! Great for my lotions & scrubs the discoloration was very slight which is perfect. I my soap I used brewed coffee & added coffee grounds to get that dark rich brown color. I'm glad purchased it, a definite repurchase!

"Gross"

COMMENTS: I just got this fragrance in the mail today and I had to throw it out shortly after using it. As soon as I opened the bottle I thought that the smell was disgusting. But I thought I would give it a chance and try it out in some wax melts to test out the fragrance. I couldn’t even get through finishing up making the wax melts before I had to scrap the whole project because the smell became too overwhelming. I must have gotten a bad batch or something because there are so many great reviews. But from my one experience I will never repurchase this again.

This scent is very strong. You may want to use less than usual to get results similar to other aromas.

COMMENTS: I love that it didn't seem to discolor much even though it does have vanilla in it. Also I loved the smell, it smells like coffee beans out of the bag! I also like that I can easily mix it with other foodie scents to create more favored coffee drink smells. "Skunky, way nutty & Coffee Smelling all in one"

COMMENTS: That's right! This fragrance oil is quite skunky smelling with light Coffee notes & scent & extremely nutty smelling once you open it & smell it directly from the bottle. It is reminiscent of smelling just like a popular Coffee made & sold directly in New Mexico called New Mexico (Traditional Piñon) Roasted Coffee which is also way skunky smelling. It made my whole house smell like a skunk when somebody in my family once bought me a 5 pound bag of it after I had opened it up. This fragrance oil smells almost exactly like it.

"Great Coffee for Soy Candles"

COMMENTS: For years now this has been my favorite coffee fragrance oil for soy candles. Smells like a cup of sweet espresso and has a very strong cold and hot throw in soy. Have not tried it in melt and pour soap yet but I'm sure it would make a great morning soap.

"Very strong coffee!!"

COMMENTS: This scent is great, although I'm torn between this one and fresh brewed coffee, so I blended them! I will likely stick with that blend, the fresh brewed coffee is fantastic, but when combined with coffee beans, it gives some depth. This is definitely a very strong fragrance, I used just over half of the maximum and my soap is still as strong as when I poured! Behaved beautifully, no acceleration, ricing or separation. I'm sure that it discolored, but wanted a dark brown anyway and who wouldn't want coffee soap to look like coffee!

COMMENTS: Wow - this is a great flavor. I used this twice - once in coffee soap, and then today, when I mixed this with pumpkin spice oil to make Pumpkin Chai Latte cupcake soap. Does change the color or your batter a little, but was great for me No acceleration no ricing. Worked very well.

"I am reordering!"

COMMENTS: At first when I received this fragrance I was so disappointed because it smells like burnt popcorn or burnt toast in the bottle. I though I had thrown my money away on this one. I decided to make a small batch of cold process soap just to see how it would do. Let me tell you it is one of my favorites and I am ordering more of it. It behaved well in cold process and didn't accelerate. It smells like fresh brewed coffee with a hint of sweet cream. I want to keep this soap available at all times.

	"Great Coffee Bar Scent"
COMMENTS: I feel like I have to defend this poor FO from some new posted bad reviews. This is a great sweet coffee scent, and has been a WSP staple fragrance for years. If you like cafe au lait, or coffee bar style beverages with cream/sugar, then this is your fragrance. Unlike the Fresh Brewed Coffee FO that WSP carries, I get no skunked odor or bitter tones from THIS one. Soaped like a dream, with no acceleration or ricing. It's supposed to discolor brown, but I'm still waiting on that to happen-- my batch actually looks bright yellow 24 hours in, but that's just the PH still being high. Oh, and this is nice on its own, but I like to add a touch of Vanilla FO (WSP's) and a little dash of Bitter Almond EO to round it out to a full fledged fancy coffee drink. My customers absolutely love this in MP and foaming scrubs, so I know the CP will also be well received.

"Fresh Brewed Soap - excellent blender"

COMMENTS: I am a coffee-aholic, so of course when I saw a lip/deodorant/everything safe coffee fragrance, I had to try it. OOB I don't really get a cream note, I do get a slightly bitter hot coffee scent. I've tried this fragrance in a variety of applications and find it blends really well with chocolate and sugary/vanilla scents. I love that it's lip-safe for a mocha lip balm ( made using some coffee butter from WSP) too! Coffee grounds make a great deodorizer andI tried this FO in a wax melt with a drop of coffee extract. It made the whole room smell like delicious fresh brewed coffee but I don't think it actually cleared the air.

COMMENTS: I like this one a lot. It's not too strong, and next time I make it (there will definitely be a next time) I'll use a little more, like .8 per pound when I normally do .7. I like my scents on the stronger side. This one smells very true to me, just like coffee. I used strong brewed coffee in my cp soap, and included fine coffee grounds 1t. per pound. Smells great, discolored quite dark but I like how that works with the fragrance. Everyone who smells this one just loves it. I'm thinking I'll make it regularly.

"Great Coffee Scent"

COMMENTS: This is a great coffee scent. It does not hold up as well as I like in CP. The smell faded quite a bit after one month of curing. I can still smell the coffee bean in it though. Behaves very well. I did not experience any acceleration, but I did not attempt any swirls or designs. The FO discolors the soap which is to be expected, and is welcomed since coffee is brown/black anyways. I will definitely reorder a 16 ounce bottle, I will just up the amount I use, or try in HP to see if that holds the scent better since I add it at the end.

COMMENTS: This smells amazing out of the bottle and when I first used it in my coffee soap, just like a fresh cup of coffee! I do wish it had a little more staying power in my cold process soap though, I felt like it wasn't quite as strong as I wanted it to be, but I will just have to add a little bit more next time, other than that its the best coffee fragrance!

COMMENTS: I really like this scent. It smells more like mocha to me than coffee beans. The fragrance holds up over time and I didn't experience any acceleration. Have only used in CP but plan to try it in a soy container candle.

"True scent"

COMMENTS: I am back to buy again. I love the scent of coffee beans and this one is 100% true scent. Behaves well in soap. Does discolor to a brownish coffee color but used that in the design. Split the batch and scented one half leaving me with a coffee and cream appearance. Strong scent that does not diminish with time. I have decided to purchase all my scenting material from this company. They allow everything to be put into a review and that is extremely helpful. No surprises when creating a batch. You can work around a scent oddity if you know it is coming. Some companies only allow a positive review which is totally useless. So, Wholesale Supplies, you are stuck with me.

COMMENTS: The name is all wrong, in my opinion, but the smell is mouth watering! It's more of a coffee mocha scent with some definite cocoa/chocolate smell in there. This is one of our best selling scents in lotion, soap and lotion bars. We will continue to buy this as long as it's available!

"Beautiful Aroma!"

COMMENTS: I used the coffee bean fragrance oil in cold process soap and loved it! The scent reminded me more of espresso than brewed coffee. It behaved really well in cold process soap, and is really versatile for combining with other scents (cocoa, cinnamon, clove, etc.). Highly recommend!

COMMENTS: Used this fragrance in my last batch of CP soap and when I pulled it from the mold you could instantly smell the coffee, it actually kind of smelt chocolaty as well....like a mocha. My husband was standing in the kitchen and immediately asked if it was coffee and said it made him hungry. I bet this will be a great sop for the kitchen, get rid of the smell of onions and garlic! :) it's a winner

COMMENTS: This does smell like coffee, but not quite coffee beans. It is strong and works well in MP. I found I needed to cut back on the measurement as it was a little too strong. Over a 3 week period the smell did fade a little, but still stood out as a good coffee smell to customers.

COMMENTS: I love the smell of coffee (hate the taste). A certain brand of candles discontinued there roasted coffee and I never thought I would find that fragrance again-until now. This is the exact scent I know and love and am so happy to be able to put this in my soaps. I grind up a few beans to a fine powder and sprinkle it in the soap with this fragrance and it is amazing!

Thank you for your review. One suggestion regarding the discoloring, try our Crafter's Choice Vanilla Color Stabilizer (it is made for CP, MP Soap and Lotions/Washes as well). This fragrance has 1% vanilla content. The stabilizer prevents the vanilla in fragrance oils from turning lye based soap formulations brown. It will not prevent color changes due to ingredients other than vanilla. It works really well - we use it often.

"Love this scent! Coffee Beans!"

COMMENTS: I purchased a 4oz bottle and should have gone larger! My testers went nuts over this scent, and I love it too. True coffee bean scent. It did not speed up trace for me in CP. CP is still curing, so I can't comment on the scent after curing. It's wonderful in the M&P soaps I've used. I have not used a modifier with this fragrance and have used brown colorants with this fragrance so I can't comment on color.
