Our Coconut Milk Melt and Pour Soap Base is a detergent free base that is opaque and white in color. It contains coconut milk, which is thought to be high in antioxidants and an excellent natural moisturizer for the skin. The ten-pound block makes (40) 4 oz. bars of soap and measures 12" x 11" x 2.25". This soap is white with a big bubble lather.

Melt Point: 120-125º F. Color: White
Clarity: Opaque Detergent: 0% (Creamy Bubbles)

Sorbitol, Sodium Cocoate, Propylene Glycol, Sodium Stearate, Glycerin, Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) Fruit Juice, Titanium Dioxide.

Sorbitol, Coconut Oil, Propylene Glycol, Stearic Acid, Water, Sodium Hydroxide, Glycerin, Coconut Milk, Titanium Dioxide.

Directions:

MELT: Determine amount of melt and pour soap base needed for your project. Carefully slice soap base into small pieces and place in microwave safe container. Heat on low at 30 second intervals. Stir between intervals until liquid. Handle hot soap carefully as it may burn the skin. Soap can also be melted in a double boiler.

MOLD: Stir in cosmetic color, cosmetic scent, and skin safe additives. Pour into a Crafter's Choice mold. Spritz soap surface with rubbing alcohol to remove bubbles. Allow to cool until hard.

ENJOY: Remove from mold and wrap with airtight plastic wrap. Your newly created melt and pour soap is now ready to use!

CAUTION: Melted soap is hot! For ages 15 and older.

"Do you have a typical pH for this base (I understand anything I add have an effect on the pH)? How would I test the pH on bar soaps like this? Would litmus paper being rubbed with the lather from it even give me an idea or would that basically be a waste of time? Thanks."

"Hi! Just wondering if you have any tips for reducing the "stickiness" that each bar has after they've hardened? Every single bit of dust seems to stick to these once they're out of the mold and getting shrink bands around them is difficult with the stickiness, too. I haven't been able to find a trick that helps reduce that, but I'm desperate to because this is the best M&P soap base I've ever used! Is there anything that I can add to the soap to reduce that stickiness?"

"I was looking at the ingredients on all your bases not one has oils listed I don’t even know half of the ingredients I thought soap bases are made with oils? I bought quit a few of your bases and now I’m not sure I want to sell them when I cant explain to my customers what’s in it. And definitely wouldn’t want to list the ingredients I bought other bases that weren’t detergent free."

"Love WSP Soap Bases"

COMMENTS: I really love WSP soap bases. They melt easily, hold the scent very well and are long lasting. They work very well for the soaps I make for my business. I just wish they didnt cost so much. I cant find a cheaper comparable base.

"Feels great but vanillin browns it"

COMMENTS: I love that there is an option for a coconut based white melt and pour. Fragrances with vanillin will make it turn brown though so just plan ahead if using those fragrances.

"Very Moisturizing"

COMMENTS: This is the firsst time i made soap so i started with melt and pour. I searched online through a bunch of sites and found WSP. Their prices are very resonable and better than others on the items I needed. The fact I found detergent free is so much better too. I recommend WSP 100% to anyone looking for all their soaping needs. I will continue to reorder.

COMMENTS: My personal favourite M&P soap base because it produces a truly perfect bar of soap. It's moisturizing and the cure time is great. I've found that it takes a bit longer to fully harden and not have that "sticky" feel, but it's so worth it. Please never stop offering this base!!! My customers (and myself!) are obsessed. "my hands love this soap!"

COMMENTS: I really enjoyed working with this base. I am still new to soap making and I had no problems at all. The feel of this soap is great. My colors blended well and still came out bright even though it is a white base. I tend to not like to wash my hands to much or enjoy washing my tools because my hands tend to end up dry but with this soap the more i washed the softer my hands became. I was nervous about the lather but i found it to be a nice creamy lather i enjoyed. I will try to always have this soap always on hand.

COMMENTS: This base soap is my absolute favorite! The fragrances I add carry very well and do not create pitting in the finished bar. It has a lovely sheen, and finishes beautifully.
