If used in CP it WILL SEIZE!

"Like other CP soapers, this fragrance oil seized nearly immediately. An entire bucket of soap that was solid - HOWEVER - I waited until it went in gel phase (less than 5 minutes) batch got up to about 172 degrees F, and I was able to get it into a loaf mold. Looks like a loaf of bread right now - I'm interested to see what it will look like when I unmold."

Moderate acceleration like the note says

"I had no problem working with this fragrance only because it was noted that it will cause acceleration, so I was prepared to work quickly, and able to peaks on my soap mold, I had no ricing. I would purchase again knowing what I know now."

INSTANT SEIZING IN CP

"I love this scent and was excited to make a dragon fruit looking CP soap with layers of pink/red and white with poppy seeds. However, no soon I put the fragrance in, the entire batch seized. I tried again, thinking my oils and lye may be too cold/too hot' no. . same thing happened. Seized in a matter of seconds. This scent is NOT good for CP."

"I learned really quickly that you have to stir in fragrance just for about 3 seconds then get it in the mold immediately. Scent is amazing though."

Not for Cold Process Soaps!!!

"I loved how this smelled. Works wonderful in MP soaps. I thought I'd give it a shot and use it in CP soap even though I read the other reviews on seizing. I can now confirm'. . it does seize. In less then 2 seconds. ??"

Instant seizing

"The description of the scent is very inaccurate. This scent caused almost instant acceleration and seizing in my CP soap. It took literally less than six seconds from adding the fragrance for it to become hard and unusable for molding. This is a nice scent and I wish it had worked but for CP soap I would stay FAR AWAY from this one."

Perfect Dragonfruit Scent - Fresh & Delicate

"I love this Dragonfruit FO as well as the Dragonfruit & Pear FO. The Dragonfruit FO is, to me, a 'classic' dragonfruit scent, and I would describe it as a (slightly) sweet, fresh, clean, and watery fruit fragrance. I have been searching for a dupe to Maison Berger's 'Water Fruits' [Top Notes: Pear, Green notes, Grapefruit, Exotic fruits; Middle Notes: Dragon Fruit, Water fruits, Lotus Blossom; Base Notes: Vanilla, White Musk] and this Dragon Fruit FO is the closest I have found to the overall fragrance of that catalytic lamp ISA-based fragrance oil which has sadly been discontinued. I am not a soap maker and I primarily use FO's & EO's in diffusers & fragrance oil lamps, so I can only comment on the scent. To me, Dragonfruit is the ideal choice for a clean, fresh, 'watery' fragrance that is in the fruit category. It is also a unique and unusual scent, vs the typical apple, citrus, berry, and tropical fruit scents. It is distinctive in the same way the smell of apple is distinctive from other fruits. Finally, if you are looking at both Dragonfruit and Dragonfruit & Pear, I suggest you try both as they are noticeably different and each has it own 'signature notes'. Dragonfruit & Pear is sweeter, heavier, and more fruit-forward than Dragonfruit. Dragonfruit is also the classic dragonfruit scent while Dragonfruit & Pear is more of a sweet & fruity blend."

Quite possibly the worst FO I've ever used.

"SMELLS great, however - I used this FO twice in my CP soap and ""moderate acceleration"" is an understatement. The first batch was 50% soft oils and it took all of 3 seconds to SEIZE. The second batch was 40% hard oils, PLUS I also diluted it with a 50% oil I knew didn't accelerate and even then it seized and riced and just KILLED 5lbs of soap. Do NOT use this in CP soap at all! This is the worst."

Q&A

I have tried this fragrance in CP twice and both times the soap seized immediately after adding the fragrance. I am not sure how this was tested for CP but "moderate acceleration" is not an accurate representation of this fragrance. I have used different temps but that did not help. Do you have suggestions for CP?
