"I’ve been using BTMS-50 for years now and looking to purchase more. I know that it contains Butylene Glycol whereas BTMS does not but don’t see Butylene Glycol in your list of ingredients or in the MSDS so I’m confused by the answers to questions here that state they are basically the same or contain the same ingredients. Was Butylene Glycol omitted here by mistake or is this BTMS and not the equivalent to BTMS-50?"

"I use this for EVERYTHING."
COMMENTS:  This is the best emulsifier ever. I use it in everything, including lotion bars and conditioners. It's creamy and softening. There can be a slight scent to it, I noticed sometimes a batch or so I order has it, but it fades and you never notice it.

"This is BTMS 25, read on..."
COMMENTS:  So I bought this by chance, I can't remember what I bought it for to be honest lol. Anyways, Im still new to this handmade field and after doing some research as some want to know whether this is BTMS or not... I found out this is infact BTMS 25 and the Crafters Choice Conditioning EW is BTMS 50. Don't believe me, research the ingredients yourself. I am planning on using this to make a hair conditioner and I am sure it will work pretty well.

"Thick, Plush & Cushy-Just like the $$$ Version!!"
COMMENTS:  BMTS is my favorite emulsifying ingredient but for a long time WSP only offered the pricier conditioning version. While that e-wax is great, I've found that this one performs just as well in the same recipes and for a lot less $$$. This is my ewax of choice now for my lotions, scrubs and of course hair conditioner. It creates a plush cushiony feel that stays on even after some rinsing. For lotions it is extra nice to feel that little layer of wax on the skin, it seems to keep my skin softer and protects them from water. I've swapped it out 1:1 for any of ewax in the recipes here with no problems. If there are any cons it would be just how thick your lotions end up with this. Forget about pouring them in a bottle, it's a jar or pastry bag for sure to get this stuff in a bottle! I've had no problem using a pump with it however, it is thick and fluffy, not thick and heavy, which is just how I like my lotions!
