Does the Cetearyl Alcohol in this E-Wax contain any soy? I know Cetearyl Alcohol can come naturally from soy oil or other vegetable oils. I have a customer that is allergic to soy and wants to know if they can use my products which I use this Emulsifying Wax.: It may contain soy as our supplier uses carrying vegetable sources such as coconut, palm, corn or soy. It will vary depending on the availability of the plants.
Hi, when I was working on my lotion recipe, the lotion wasn't coming together at first. So I thought by melting more emulsifying wax (traditional) it would bind it more because the lotion was literally separating. But then things did begin to combine but by then I already melted the additional wax but no longer needed it. Can I reuse this wax for another purpose or should I just discard it. Thanks: Unfortunately we cannot say for sure, this is something you should test in a small batch. When remelting, try to not to overheat.
