Very pretty

"Using it alone in Cold Process I didn't get the white white I was wanting. The time I used it I added a tad of titanium dioxide and I got great results. Depends on if you want a bright white or a creamy sparkling white on how to use it. I do really really love the sparkles all in it!"

Q&A

Hey! I was wondering if this mica would be okay in shampoo? Also if it'd be strong enough to overpower a brown color in conditioner (if it works in conditioner)
This can be used in shampoo or conditioner, but you'd have to test in your recipe to see if if can color over a brown hue.
Can this be used as a highlighter?
Yes, you can use this as a highlighter.
What is the actual weight of the mica being sold in a 2oz jar? I would need the weight and not volume of whats being purchased.
Our mica powders are measured by weight.

Our powders are measured by weight, sorry for the confusion. So it would be 2 oz of mica powder.
Which liquids are safe to store this mica powder in without "melting" the mica? Liquid oils like Avocado Oil or Castor Oil? Would rubbing alcohol be safe, or would the alcohol dissolve the mica over time? Would water with or without some type of preservative be OK?
You might try mixing the micas with a small amount of carrier oil. Any oil would do but we recommend one with a long shelf life such as castor oil, MCT or fractionated coconut oil, coconut 76, olive or palm oil. You might want to experiment with a few different ones along with the alcohol to see which one makes a better base.
