Frosted Cranberry

"Love the Frosted Cranberry scent. I have had many compliments on the fragrance. In the soap I gifted to others."

Barbara K. (5/5)

In CP Soap, this was a disappointment

"I've been using the CC Frosted Cranberry for years in my Sugar Scrubs (which I like very much) and my Solid Syndet Shampoo Bar (it does help hide the smell of BTMS in the latter). I wanted to try it in CP Soap. My opinion: it smells better OOB (out of the bottle) than it does in cured, saponified CP Soap. It did not hold the scent well, it discolors so you have to be mindful of any colorant (if any) you want to add otherwise the discoloration takes control, and the acceleration is more than just ""slight acceleration"". I soap room temp, and for the specific design and mold I was using, I purposely did not DWCP ""discount the water"" because I was wary of acceleration. I'll finish up using what I have in Sugar Scrubs because that's where I like it the best."

It riced for me as well

"This behaved all right in my little mini-test, so I used it at 3% in CP soap. Even though I had my batter just past emulsion, I had instant ricing and massive acceleration. It wasn't soap on a stick, I had time to (quickly) mix in some mica, but it was a race to get everything incorporated and into the mold. I did try to blend out the ricing, but it was very thick. Even if it behaved well, it's not personally a nice enough smell for me to want to purchase again. I do love earthy scents, but this one doesn't do it for me."

Yum! Very nice FO.

"I absolutely love this scent! I would definitely put it more on the feminine side of the scent spectrum, but not overly so. I used this in hot process and it came out nicely. It's going to be a Christmas holiday staple but I'll be making Valentine's gifts with it as well, if not just using it year round. Winner!"

Patricia (5/5)

Amazing!

"I bought this fragrance oil looking for a great traditional cranberry scent for the holiday season. I made a variety of products with it and they all turned out great and I sold out of what I had in just 1 show! The scent held very well in M&P soap, had a beautiful hot and cold throw in soy candles and is now my favorite fragrance. You just can't go wrong with this one!"

Kyla (5/5)

Favorite all year long

"I started out using this fragrance oil for Christmas shows. I got so many great reviews and customers requesting it all year long. The scent holds well in CP soaps. The fragrance in lotions is amazing. You must try. . . ."

Mary L. (5/5)

One of OUR FAVORITES!!!

"This is EXCELLENT for CP, works extremely well. Made a beautiful batch of Coconut Milk Based CP Soap with this FO and it turned out awesome! Good for both the Guys and Gals, sure to be a success, can't say enough good things about it. Will FOR SURE be adding this one to our regular lineup!"

Kendra (5/5)

Customer Favorite

"This is one of my customers favorite Holiday scent that I offer! As someone who doesn't like cranberry this is really a nice oil!"

Brandy (5/5)

Awesome tartness and sweetness!

"I used this for my holidays scrubs and could be used not just for holidays but all year long. A little goes a long way and it smell so good to eat it. Planning to make hand soap to match with my scrub soon."

Teresa (5/5)

My favorite out of all the fragrances!

"This scent is my favorite and a great deal of my customers. I add it to my hard lotion balms!"

Q&A

Is there real plum in this fragrance oil?
There is not any real plum in this formula.
Are you fragrance oils safe to use in lip balms in place of flavor oils?
This fragrance oil is not safe to use in lip products. You can tell if our fragrance oils are safe to use in lip products by looking at the IFRA Maximum Skin Exposure Levels on each product. If it says 0.00% next to lip, it is not safe to use in that application.
Can you use this to make candles?
All our fragrances can be used in candles with the exception of Water Soluble Fragrances. You would need to follow the manufacturer's recommendation for fragrance load for your particular wax. As with any new fragrance, testing is recommended to be sure the fragrance is compatible with the wax.
When using this fragrance in let's say the recipe for "Frosted Cranberry Winter Wonderland CP Soap", do you go by weight or by volume? Also curious what 2 fluid ounces of the fragrance would weigh?
Hi Sarah, This recipe is measured by weight to allow for accuracy. 2 fluid ounces of this fragrance would be the equivalent to approximately 2.097 weighted ounces. That being said, the 2 ounce bottle should work for your recipe!
