Q&A

Hi, will this extract cause a warming sensation when used in recipes?
We have not found this to do so.
Is there a difference between Ginger Extract and Ginger Essential Oil? Thanks!
Yes, the extract is ginger root extract mixed with water and glycerin. Ginger essential oil is pure ginger oil extracted from ginger root.
Any advice on using ginger extract in making lotion? What %? Thank you!
Yes, you can add this to the water phase and use anywhere from 0.5-3%!
Can you the Ginger Extract in a M&P soap base. And if so how much should I use please?
Yes this can be used in MP soap base. We recommend adding 0.5-1.5%.
Is the Ginger extract supposed to smell like Ginger? I received a 16 ounce bottle and it does not smell like Gnger at all.
Extracts may have a faint scent from the botanical they are from. We have noted in their description the extracts that do have a scent. The ginger extract does not have any odor.
