| COMMENTS: Bought this for use in soapmaking and finally got around to using it this week to make a gingerbread soap cake. It has a nice, warm scent out of the bottle and behaved wayyyyyy better than I expected (based on the some of the reviews/comments here, I thought I would have to work really fast, but I actually ended up having to wait on the soap, much longer than I expected, to set up to the desired consistency). Anyway, the soap came out perfect and looks great! The FO didn't even discolour the cake base much (has a light, creamy colour), but I'll wait to see if it changes in the coming weeks. I used about 0.5 ounces per pound of oils, and soaped at room temperature (both my lye solution and oils were completely cooled). I also added real ginger root to my soap batter, but it didn't seem to accelerate trace or anything, though I thought it would and prepared for it just in case. Overall, I am very pleased with this FO, how it behaved in my soap making, and will purchase again when needed. :) | |

| COMMENTS: I purchased this FO to make Gingerbread MP soap. It smells amazing! If you are using a clear base be warned that it does contain Vanilla so it can change the color. Luckily, I read the bottle before putting into a clear base so I knew it would have that affect. Otherwise, smells just like Gingerbread and I love it! | |
