"I must say that so far this has been my best seller! Everyone loves the scent, it's somehow uplifting and comforting at the same time. Very crisp, sweet scent, nothing bitter about it! I've not tried the other grapefruit EO that is sold here, but I'm so happy with this one I don't want to risk being disappointed if the other isn't as nice! Good price, too! Try it, you'll love it! I've read about some of its aromatherapy properties, one is for reducing appetite in food addicted people (me), and I must say that I notice a difference in my appetite and/or desire to eat whenever I work with this EO! Great Citrus Scent

"I'm not a huge fan of grapefruit scents but I know a lot of people are so purchased this to try in a salt soap recipe. This essential oil has a nice scent that isn't too strong or too weak. It has a low flashpoint so I was worried it wouldn't work well in cp soap but it worked fine and didn't cause acceleration or any problems. I mixed it with the blood orange EO sold on this site and the soap smells awesome."

I cannot get this Essential Oil to enter into the fragrance calculator on your website.How can I calculate the usage rate?(I prefer to use the fragrance calculator but it will not work for this Essential Oil)
The essential oil is not in the calculator as we don't have the IFRA for essential oils updated yet. We anticipate the IFRA update for essential oils early next week.
Does this grapefruit essential oil hold its scent in cold processed soap? I haven't found a grapefruit e.o. that holds its scent yet. I love the scent. Any suggestions? Thanks ??
Yes, this holds in CP soap. We suggest reading the reviews as many people use in CP soap and say it holds.
I made a body balm yesterday, and during cool down, added the pink grapefruit EO. It smelled divine. When I went to check on my balm the next morning, I could only smell the barest hint of the essential oil! I was so disappointed! Did I do something wrong, or is it just that this EO doesn't have staying power? Such a waste! (I did use an EO calculator) Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
We have not had complaints about this EO losing its scent and is known to be one of the stronger EOs. We are not sure what could've went wrong, sorry! Perhaps the ingredients used have their own strong odors?
What is the usage rate % for children?
IFRA levels are provided "Baby" products at a max of 5%. You can talk to your pediatrician about this is you have any questions.
What does flashpoint mean?
Flashpoint is the temperature at which the oil can combust. That is why no Essential Oil with a low flashpoint can ship by air. If using these in cold process soap, essentials with a lower flashpoint can evaporate quicker due to the higher temperature.
