Details

Pour or place your prepared mixture into the silicone mold cavities and allow it to cool, harden, or set fully according to your project type. Once firm, gently pull the sides of the mold away from the product, then press on the bottom of the cavity until it begins to release, and carefully remove. Care: Hand wash molds in warm, sudsy water and allow to dry completely before reuse.

Great for samples!

"I have a couple of these molds. I mostly make cp soap, and between the size of my regular molds, and my soap cutter, I never have ""end"" pieces to use for samples. I hated cutting up good bars of soap to use for samples, and now I don't have to!! I just make a few extra ounces of soap, and use these molds to pour it in. It makes perfect sized sample bars, so no more cutting up full bars of soap!"

"This mini loaf mold is great for testing out a new scent, to see how it colors the soap/ reacts with other ingredients. And I also use this mold to make sample/ test batches for large custom orders, for buyers to test out a scent/ color combo before making very large orders so they know they like the scent before hand. "I want to state one thing about these molds, they are absolutely wonderful!! I did an extensive online search to find the very best price I could. I want to state that this mold is the cheapest here on WSP. Take my advice don't go hunting around for a better price (you won't find one). Easy to use I loved them so much I bought 4 of them."

Great Tool for Experimenting

"What a great little silicon mold, it's the perfect size for experimenting with new recipes, if I don't like my new recipe I haven't lost a lot of my supplies. It's also a great way to try out new colors to see how they affect your CP or HP soaps and how much you'll need for about a pound of soap. I also like it for trying new fragrances to see how they'll behave and if I have the correct amount to have a nicely fragranced soap. I've used it for Cold Process soap and Hot Process in the Crock Pot soaps. When I un-molded my Hot Process soap, the little bar slipped out easily with no dings or dents. For Cold Process, I've put the cute little soap mold in the freezer for about an hour then pop my soap out. I like this mold so much I ordered a couple more recently."

Can this be used with epoxy resin?: We have not tested this product with epoxy resin.
11 oz oil weight or total weight?: The mold capacities are listed for total weight.
Is this safe to bake in?: Yes, our silicone molds can withstand heat up to 500°F. Just want to mention, don't use for soap once you have baked with them.
What number will I enter in soap calc to make a recipe for one of these loaves? 11oz?: Yes, you would enter 11 oz. for this mold.
Do you sell a mitre box for this size loaf?: I'm sorry but we do not have a mitre box for this mold. But that's a great suggestion! Thank you!
