The Throw Is Not As Strong As I Would Like

"I was excited when I smelled this oil in the bottle, but when I used it in my diffuser plug it wasn't as strong as I would have liked. Still nice but not sure I would get it again."

Nice Natural Berry Scent

"This is a unique berry scent, great on its own or blended with other natural fragrances."

Smells amazing, just like chocolate & marshmallows

"I really like this fragrance oil. The scent is mouthwatering and heavenly. It's exactly as the description says- chocolate and marshmallow smell. The oil is very very thick, thicker than other natural fragrance oils I've purchased here- I mixed 25% oil to 75% denatured perfumer's ethanol in a roller ball and after mixing, it still came out slightly oily. While I love the fragrance in the bottle, I do not like how it smells on my particular skin, especially when the top notes are gone. Perhaps the scent will stay more true in another type of product. I could see this being really good for candles, room sprays, scented wax melts, etc. I think I'll try adding some to my DIY flaxseed hair gel and seeing how the scent stays in a product for hair instead of skin. I also noticed the smell for Holiday Cocoa did not last as long on my skin. The Vanilla Caramel Coffee natural fragrance oil lasted much longer on my skin (same 25% oil to 75% ethanol ratio), the scent stayed true and the dry down was just as heavenly as the beginning, I would even say better for that fragrance."

Spot on

"This fragrance is spot on. It smells delicious. And mixed with peppermint essential oil it is perfect for holidays. It performed well in cold process and stays pretty well although if you do mix it with something you have to use a small amount of the other fragrance so as not to cover up the cocoa. It's very thick so be aware when you are adding it- it just takes longer to get it out of the jar. I didn't notice any changes in my soap like acceleration or ricing. It will darken any light portions of your soap a bit but not too badly."

Hot cocoa is hot!

"Great chocolate-based FO. Really the only chocolate fragrance I have liked and look forward to using again and in more products. My husband loved it so much he kept the biggest candle for himself! Already thinking of ways I could use this in the spring and summer as well."

It Is Okay'

"It smelled pretty good in the bottle. Then when I started using it, I noticed that it had a very thick consistency; I'm not sure if that's normal. I wish it was a bit stronger in scent, I had to add chocolate essential oil to living it up. I can smell the hint aroma of marshmallows!"

Mouthwatering

"I love this scent! It has a true but not overpowering chocolate smell, the other notes are subtle & supportive. I have also blended it with some peppermint for a peppermint cocoa that is totally delicious! I use it for room & body sprays, body wash & lotion"

Mouth Waterningly Delicious!

"Used in CP soap at 5. 5%. It has only been aging for about 1 week, but the scent is sooooo good! Sweet and chocolately and just a perfect 'Hot Chocolate' scent. This one is awesome!"

Worked well in CP Soap

"I was pleasantly surprised by the warm toasty smell of this FO. I used it in CP Soap and it has been three weeks and so far it still smells lovely."

Q&A

Just how brown does this fragrance oil turn cold press soap?
This fragrance turns a medium brown color, it is definitely not a tan/beige.
What gives this fragrance the "buttery" scent?
The aromatic notes in a natural fragrance oil can be found in many different products found in nature. It may not be a single item but a combination of a few different ones that give that buttery scent to a fragrance. As with any fragrance oil, the ingredients and components are proprietary.
Does this fragrance contain any actual nut oils or extracts?
This fragrance contains no nut oils or extracts.
