"I make CP soap with this fragrance, it is a huge hit! I had no A or R, I used VCS and had very good results with no discoloring. I did use peaches, light rusts and brown micas which may have helped with the possible discoloring. I refuse to make a pumpkin pie scent in a soap (just seems gross to rub pumpkin pie on my skin) but with this fragrance I am able to bring in a seasonal pumpkin that doesn't smell like pie. My customers LOVE this one, I sell out every time I make it. Sweet & creamy coconut with pumpkin (not pumpkin pie) undertones, Fabulous! It as been such a hit that I am going to carry this soap year round."

"I have made these twice now(had enough product to make a 2nd batch) The first time, I used the molds(had to use more vinegar to keep it from crumbling and found that as stated I had to break them apart to fit in my dishwashers cup. The 2 nd time I filled the molds halfway so that they would fit, and I even left some product in the crumbly stage to measure (1 T) to use in the machine. Best of all, my dishes have never been cleaner!"

"I like the kit, but I guess I squeezed too much of the mixture into the molds. I only got about 80% of the holes. I don't think I overfilled them because they turned out a nice size."

Q&A

What's the purpose of the salt in this recipe? Can it be omitted?: The salt helps scrub the dishes clean. We would not recommend omitting this from the recipe.
Can I substitute another type of salt like pink sea, dead sea, etc., for the spa salt?: You can certainly use other salts if you wish.
Can I add a touch of water-soluble dye to make the tablets a pale yellow without it staining plastic items?: This is something you would need to test. Using a small amount of color should not stain plastics but we cannot say for sure.
Can I use the Lemon Verbena - EO & FO Blend 715 oil instead of Lemon EO? Also, I don't have a digital scale if i do round up to the next whole ounce, do i need to change anything else in the recipe to make it work properly?: You can use the Lemon Verbena EO & FO Blend instead of the Lemon EO. We do recommend measuring the ingredients as close as possible to the recipe so that the recipe performs properly.
