Ice & Fire Fragrance Oil combines fire red spice, vibrant grapefruit and cassis and contrasting cooler tones of patchouli and amber woods.

Cold Process Soap Test Results:

We test fragrances with the recipe of 50% olive oil, 20% sunflower oil,
15% coconut 76, 10% shea butter, 5% castor. No water discount.

"Wonderful scent"

COMMENTS: I was not sure what to expect with this one, but OOB it smells amazing. I get hints of the grapefruit, amber and patchouli. It smells semi sweet, but also musky due to the amber notes. I used it in cold process soap. It behaved well and I did not have any issues, except at the very end. I spray my soap tops with alcohol to hopefully help with soda ash and I'm not sure what happened here, if it was the FO or the alcohol, but a thin layer of the top of my soap, and some spots on the edges, were ashy and very soft and crumbly. I have not had this happen before, which is why I tend to think it was the FO and some other factors. However, this soap smells amazing! I have been using it myself and it was one of my fastest selling fragrances! I will be purchasing this one again and am interested to see if the same thing happens.

COMMENTS: The fragrance is nice, grapefruit and patchouli are the strongest notes to me. However my soap lightened up A LOT and had specks of the original color.

"Lovely grapefruit scent"

COMMENTS: I used this fragrance to make hot process soap and it was a huge hit. Sort of heavy on the grapefruit but with a smokey, woodsy hint to it also. It was loved so much by men and women that I made lotion with it also. Keeping in stock!

	"Smells nice but siezed"
COMMENTS: I put it in just after emulsification and it siezed up on me right away. I wouldn't recommend and now I have more than half a bottle left.. ugh.

"LOVE"

COMMENTS: Bought this during a sale as a test fragrance - best decision ever and now I'm purchasing more. Love the scent in soap; it is deep and complex in all the best ways. Smells like a really nice after-shave without being overwhelmingly strong or musky but is definitely still masculine. Performed perfectly in my Cold Process soap with no issues at all. Plenty of time to pour, swirl, and decorate as desired but still set up enough to cut within 24-hours. No discoloration, morph, or weirdness. I intend to use it in beard balm and shaving soap next.

	"The name is catchy..."
COMMENTS: ...not sure about this one. I just got this today and was anxious to smell it...a little on my hand and I smell amber and powdery sweet grapefruit...was hoping for a WOW factor because of the name but I really can't say this has my attention in a good way. Maybe once it's soaped it will be different.
